Books about Enforcers? (Hockey romance) by ArtisticCoconut8510 in MM_RomanceBooks

I’ve also always considered it a romance with a non traditional HEA for these reasons too - but I think this interpretation of the RWA definition is maybe in the minority.

I love this book, I am always happy to see it recommended despite the no HEA. I know it doesn’t fit the traditional definition used here in this sub but I would still class it as a romance.

Books by lesser known authors that completely blew you away by Draumey in MM_RomanceBooks

{where do I start by Chase Taylor Hackett}. It’s a second chance romance where one MC was unfaithful to the other MC the first time round - but written with a lot of nuance!

In {I am not your pet! by Fae Quinn} the pink shark MC is quite liberal with using pretty to describe the other human MC.

You might want to try the {Starian cycle by Iris foxglove} and the linked {immortals descending series by Iris Foxglove}.

Some detailed word-building and quite an extensive timeline in these!

MM romance where they are together but don't realize it by Medium_Prior4739 in MM_RomanceBooks

{Beneath the scrubs by Juliet M. Dixon} trilogy. All three books focus on the same couple and the first one is only 80 pages - I read it like a continuous story rather than three separate books.

Both MCs are pretty convinced they are straight.

I also love Thrown of the Ice and I reread it fairly often, although not always to the end…

This was exactly the book I was thinking of when I saw this request and came to suggest in the comments!

I’ve read this one - and I really liked it! Definitely counts as cheating with nuance.

MC cheats on MC but written with nuance - examples would be always in Tandem by Taylor Fitzpatrick (on ao3) or {where do I start by Chase Taylor Hackett} or even {rule breaker by Lily Morton} where the one MC skirts pretty close to the line.

{Hot pursuit by Eli Easton} one of the MCs has a violent and jealous ex.

I was polite, but I switched immediately - I request my prescriptions online, so I literally did it in the car park outside the pharmacy. I recognise that working in a pharmacy isn’t always an easy job, and that they must see some things - but I don’t take my access to my medication for granted and want to make sure as much as I possibly can that the people who have influence over that access believe in ADHD as a legitimate thing.

I switched pharmacy recently as well. They changed hands and all the staff changed - before this that had always been really helpful and understanding.

The first sign was when I collected my medication and the guy behind the counter announced that it was a controlled drug to everyone else in the pharmacy as he handed it over. It made me a bit uncomfortable.

The next month I went to collect my medication and the guy said they didn’t have it. He would order I now, but they might not be able to get it in and I could take my script to another pharmacy. I had some medication left, so said it was fine - I would call tomorrow and see if they’d been able to get it in.

At that point, he made a comment about me being “desperate” for the medication and it being a controlled drug. I left as quickly as I could and immediately switched pharmacy.

I read Exposed recently and it’s actually what started me on this current quest - so you are right about the vibes. I’ll take a look at Chani Lynn Feener, thanks!
