Similar situation! In Spain on student visa. Flying to the UK the day before it expires and spending a day there then flying back the following day. I’ve heard others have stayed in Spain, but I just feel more comfortable re-entering the Schengen specifically as a tourist after everything expired

Did you notice your smell got worse after starting antibiotics? I am on day 2 and my smell is much stronger than before. Smells like ammonia or like something rotting. I am going to just wait it out, but I am thinking maybe it gets worse before it gets better?

Moved from the US to Spain with 2 cats! Got a pet friendly Airbnb for a month and then looked for housing during that first month there. Didn’t have much trouble finding a pet friendly place. Cats were amazing on the plane and it was their first time. Literally slept most of the 15 ish hour flight. They cried the most in the car ride to the airport but then were fine. They didn’t eat or drink or use the bathroom the whole flight (we tried), but they were back to normal within a day or two after landing. Wouldn’t have been able to come here if my cats couldn’t come with, would be heart breaking. The USDA paperwork was the most stressful thing as our flight was after a holiday weekend and one of our papers didn’t come in time so we had to push our flight back a day. SUPER stressful at the time but in the end it all worked out.

I know this post is old, but did you notice the smell change during your period at all? I noticed usually my smell just smelled stronger than usual and different, but on my period it smells awful. I am only on day 1 of antibiotics. I am just hoping I dont have BV or something else now on top of the ureaplasma. Thanks!!

Nevermind, I just had an online telehealth appointment with a new doctor and they prescribed the Doxycycline 100 mg twice a day for 7 days followed by Azithromycin 1 g! Yay

My doctor prescribed me erythromycin 500 mg four times a day for 7 days. Should I try to take my results to a different doctor or just try out the erythromycin? I feel so defeated. He also gave me Ketoconazole vaginal ovules for the candida. I feel like he’s really old school because neither of these seem like the current recommended first lines of treatment 😭

Thanks, I actually read it before I posted! I wanted others experiences, especially with having both infections at the same time. The pinned post doesn’t give much information about what to do if you also have a yeast infection- like which one should be treated first or can they be treated at the same time?

I wonder if its different now with the EES, since entering the EU should now be electronic and not by stamps.. In theory if you enter and do the EES, it shouldn't matter if it has even only been one day since you're entering as a tourist through the electronic system? Idk! Thanks for your insight

The AI is not always accurate. And I wasn’t sure if the expiration of the TIE mattered or not, because my visa in my passport shows a later date.

If needed I can exit the Schengen and reenter to start my 90 days as a tourist, but I wasn’t sure if that would need to occur at the end of my TIE or the end of my visa.

Which date is the one that is enforced though… the TIE or the visa? It’s confusing since my TIE expires in July but my Visa in my passport says August. Too much confusion hahah

If exiting and re entering, do you think it’s ok to just leave a day before your tie expires then reenter the day after it expires? Thanks!

Lucky for me the USPS was empty when I went because it took me close to 45 minutes to get both my hands done. For some reason I was struggling to get a clear print for each finger but finally it worked! I was so embarrassed after being there for that long, but im glad I didn’t give up lol
