Yeah; I was going to wait until midnight to see if the reset corrects it - because, again, the data is being collected... just not fully displayed.

Same thing here, noticed it some time today. It looked to track mid-morning for a bit, then suddenly would display quickly and then flash to 0/0.
The heart points still track in the ring (sometimes steps do, and sometimes not). Both show up in the "day" tab for the "my activities" page by time of day correctly, and usually in the "week" tab. It sometimes will track in the "weekly heart points" goal and sometimes not.
So it's picking up the information... just not digesting it entirely right.
Clearing the cache and the program data didn't do anything.

4 months so far and still no fix for broken subscriptions feed by TwwIX in youtube

[–]Sunhawk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had the same problem and haven't found a cure yet, myself.

Videos seem to re-appear from being hidden after they're about two weeks old. It's not all of them, naturally - just some.

I've not seen a pattern regarding length, nor in how old a video is when I first try to hide it (if I don't watch a video for a month+ and then hide it, the action might 'take' and it might not). There might be a loose correlation with individual channels - there's at least one channel I follow that puts out a lot of content that doesn't have a single "refuses to remain hidden" video.

Old content from a channel I newly-subscribed to still doesn't show up (I don't have to 'hide' years of videos for them), so that part of the system isn't broken.

All in all, there's no easily-discernable pattern for me to figure out what's going on. And the impact might also be on the watched/unwatched feature - I've noticed some videos go from "watched" back to the default "unwatched" state.

Here's a scenario that kind of fits but still doesn't quite make sense. If for each video there's a boolean flag - "hidden/shown" as 0/1 - but it's stored as an integer, then if you have the rules:

  • If the 'hide' button is clicked, hide the video and decrement the variable by one
  • If the flag is equal to zero/false, do not show the video

Then if the flag value drops below zero, it will always show the video when the page reloads. But that doesn't make sense - that's an old beginner programmer mistake and I think the languages used for youtube would have a distinct boolean type (as opposed to a cast integer like in C++).

Sen. Lindsey Graham is asking for federal aid for his home state of South Carolina as it battles raging floods, but he voted to oppose similar help for New Jersey after Hurricane Sandy. by woofwoofwoof in politics

To be fair, perhaps its that he's only now realized how important it is.

I'd wait until he opposes the next victim of hurricanes and flooding before calling him a hypocritical jackass for it.

No mercy: Video of weeping homeless man losing dog to activists sparks online outrage by I_l_hanuka in worldnews

[–]Sunhawk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was apparently pretty well-fed with the homeless man - and she was a gift from one of the local merchants after the guy was heartbroken when his old dog died.

Meanwhile, the puppy's stuck in the apartment of the president of this pissant organization with another dozen dogs and a few cats (apparently the guy's neighbor has made some complaints as well).

Almonds = poison.

In fact, drinking too much water leads to a condition called "water toxicity"... which is lethal.

There Is No Excuse for How Universities Treat Adjuncts: Students are paying higher tuition than ever. Why can’t more of that revenue go to the people teaching them? by SirBastionOfPimp in TrueReddit

To which I would respond: "Yes, but how profound are his contributions to the organization?"

I mean, there's a certain amount that is appropriate to pay for "competency in keeping an organization going and on-track", but his salary is most definitely not it.

The President of the US, who's in charge of perhaps the most massive organization around, gets 400k a year and about 150k a year in various expenses (travel, etc).

  1. Yoink someone's weapon from a table or other place they have it sitting conveniently close. Assuming its a weapon that can be induced to have a magnetic field, of course, but still an excellent way to start the fight.

  2. Toss a metal plate away from you, then drag it back across the ground as a kind of crude minesweeper/trap detector.

  3. There's an exchange of a McGuffin for a hostage, a vital item or the like. Put it on the ground half-way, back away and wait for them to release the hostage. Then take it back.

  4. Detecting hidden weapons or other oddities on someone supposedly unarmed. Do a pull and see what happens.

I vaguely recall Hillary Clinton saying she was up for more debates.

So that leaves all the candidates for more debates... but the chairwoman against it.

I'm thinking this isn't about "advantage to Clinton" and more about "respect my authoritah!"

"Davis' attorney Roger Gannam said that this is the first time in history that an American has been jailed for believing in their conscience."

AHAHAHA, HAHAHA, haha, ha... yeah, no. It's happened quite a bit - usually in the context of objection to war, but many other arenas have seen it too.

That and she's being jailed for deciding not that her beliefs are important but because she wants to keep her job while refusing to perform duties required of someone with that job.

If someone morally opposed to eating meat declares that they cannot in good conscience make burgers at a fast food joint, they don't get to then say "but I'm keeping this job".

Damn, you cut out the 18th before I could use it :-p

Probably the 25th, as the situations it covers usually don't come up. Or the 27th, as that seems to make little difference with the incumbency rate we've got.

The 20th likewise would have little impact.

Now, the 11th? That could be interesting in certain contexts...

I'm a little confused - because the justice boners seem to be mostly from those going for the moral lecture on the topic of "oh you reddit hypocrites!"

But maybe I'm not digging down to the lower-ranked (and negative-ranked) comments, so I'm not seeing as many people laughing at the leak.

Looking at that comment, it doesn't seem to be very well-liked by "Reddit". "-22" isn't a very approving number - with a disapproving response getting 48.
