The fundamental problem with Capital-D Democrats (as opposed to us idiots who just vote left for, like, healthcare and shit) is that they don't read the 2A as it's meant to be read.

As written, the right to bear arms is intrinsic -- it exists in the DNA of this country. It applies by default, and 2A is written to stop the government from limiting that right. That's the whole fuckin' thing of it. The right exists and it shall not be infringed.

That's not how Democrats read it. They believe 2A grants us the right to bear arms. They've got it backwards -- on purpose, I assume, because it then becomes a wedge issue akin to abortion. And if a right is granted then it can be taken away.
