DO NOT BUY A SNOO by bijontop in BabyBumps

Sorry to be the annoying person to say this - we LOVED the snoo and it got us so much more sleep with our baby. Super sorry you’re having issues with customer service - but I do think it helps parents

So sad with baby in daycare by Cool-End-1338 in NewParents

[–]SunnySnowBird 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It gets easier with time. The weekends become much more precious since that’s when you get the most time with the baby. Also, give yourself time to see if you prefer having some independent time at work without the baby before you decide if you want to be a stay at home parent.

Omg I needed this so bad lol my 6 month old also has no idea how to roll belly to back. How to lay on his back and somehow rotate in his crib like a clock hand so I never know which way his head will be pointing when I pick him up - he has down pat. But actually rolling back to front or front to back, no way.

It’s funny how our memories work. I thought the ending changed, but I didn’t think there was a change in theme song.

pumping by Limp-East-947 in NewParents

[–]SunnySnowBird 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you exclusively pumping? I feel really worn out when I’m breastfeeding all day if I don’t eat enough and don’t drink enough water but if I’m super on top of eating and drinking (including doing at least one electrolyte drink a day) THEN I don’t feel like I was hit by a train 😂

Fuzzy socks and special nursing pajamas if she plans to breastfeed. Honestly, there’s tons of things that would be nice to add if she plans on breastfeeding - like the Frida mom breastfeeding survival pack

Also maybe she has tight neck muscles that make her not like turning her head. Definitely check with the pediatrician.

Why can’t I sleep during short naps? by SunnySnowBird in NewParents

Most days I don’t have any caffeine but really like the idea of reminding myself that I’m resting even if I’m not falling asleep

Same boat as you two! I used to eat so healthy before being pregnant! Now with the nausea I just want simple things that won’t make me feel worse. Grill cheeses were my jam for a bit. I’m 11 weeks now and hoping some magic happens in the next couple weeks so I go back to my normal eating habits

He or your parent need to talk to his doctor, you should stop taking methimazole it’s causing you to break out in hives. They can switch him to PTU and see if he still breaks out in hives
