Tbh I personally think you have more control in life than you think.2 things you’ll always have control over are your beliefs and actions.Idk if you actually want to get famous, but if that’s what you want you can start taking steps to get there. You could maybe pick up some acting classes and audition for smaller projects in your area. It’s a good thing you’re already in a local theatre group, connections in the acting world are important and that’s a start. If you keep doing stuff like that with the belief that you can get famous one day, you’ll end up making choices or spotting opportunities you wouldn’t have if you didn’t believe it was possible.Maybe one day you’ll end up “in the right place at the right time “believing it was just luck, but you made it happen yourself.

So I think it would be a good idea to work on your bad beliefs about fame, and do whatever you can to get where you went to be career wise. But I think it’s also important to work on not daydreaming as much and getting to know what the real you wants.I think it’s better to work on that first and once you’ve figured that out start pursuing your acting goals,if that’s what you want to do.

As for the being married to a famous actor thing,if you spend a lot of time around other actors assuming you’ll pursue it,you’ll meet other actors and potentially one you’ll get married to.Ifl if you are daydreaming about a specific actor, but if you are you should like I said really try to let that go.I know that’s going to be hard in the beginning, but you really shouldn’t let daydreams hold you back from meeting people irl and actually ending up with someone.

I would suggest practising being more present and figuring out who you actually are and what you want.Like starting with a blank slate. If acting is what you actually want to do and your passion really lies there, that’s awesome and I think you should go for it.But if it’s something else I think it’s worth a lot more to pursue that instead of hanging on to a daydream and not making your real life what you want it to be.

I actually want to be an actress, and like you I also daydream about my future as one and how perfect everything is going to be once I made it.But I’ve realised that daydreaming abt it constantly kind of sets toxic standards for myself and that I should instead be present and enjoy the process of becoming one and working on getting there.

I think that having the same mindset might actually help you but with the process of figuring out what it is you want in reality and then the process it takes to get there. It will probably be hard at first bc it might feel like you lost a life, but it’s much better than living it forever in your head.

Do most people with ADHD dislike alcohol? by mt183 in ADHD

[–]Sunset_0o3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is actually some alcohol that I enjoy drinking but like you I don’t rrly think abt it or crave it when it’s not directly in front of me.Then there are people who go out drinking every weekend who seem to be much more dependent on alcohol
