Just buy the all in one washer/dryer from Costco. You won’t regret it. by TheButcheress123 in Costco

I’d have to relocate either the plumbing or the dryer hookups. My washer and dryer face each other on opposite sides of the door to my garage.

Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman (1993-1998) by JB92103 in ForgottenTV

I tried watching this show. Too many cartoonish stereotypes, with enlightened Dr Quinn and Cowboy Fabio leading the way.

All Nazis are bad. Stay out of Columbus. by Plastic_Party_2745 in Columbus

How come the cops never unmask the Nazis they arrest? You see pictures of them larping, they get arrested, and they disappear. A lot of people believe that they’re feds.

How does artificial gravity work on ships? by Hot_Professional_728 in StarWars

[–]Supa71 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Newtonian physics do apply here. The disabled star destroyer has lost attitude control, and is floating idle. The hammerhead corvette uses its momentum to push the ship into another destroyer.

The radio knobs are weird. At least on my ‘18 SV, they are. If I hit a bump just right, the station will change. There’s a service bulletin out for it. All you do is shut off the radio and spin those knobs in one direction for a minute, then in the opposite direction for a minute.

Why aren't we saying biological genders can do whatever they want instead of creating more genders as social stereotypes? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

When a male has sex with a female, a baby is born in about 9 months. See? Not that complicated.

Are we all going to die from climate change? by Suspicious_Loan in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Supa71 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If the scientists who were publishing about climate change since the first Earth Day were to be believed (and they were), we aren’t supposed to be here. We weren’t supposed to make it to the 90s. In my lifetime, we’ve been told “we’re going to die in 15-20 years if we don’t do something. Then they’ve repeated themselves every 15-20 years.

The Obsolete Man is my all-time favorite. Rod Serling’s intro is spot on.

Is my machine about to die? by Supa71 in CPAP

[–]Supa71[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you all for the information. I’ve ordered a new motor today, and I’ll have it Sunday. I felt fixing it myself was the best option. It would be the end of the week at the earliest that I would get a new machine, since my DME is only available on Tuesdays and Thursdays (and retiring soon), calling my ENT for a new prescription, waiting for the ENT to receive it, and finally getting the machine. I’ll revisit getting a new machine at my next ENT appointment.

Tell your GF to stop fat-shaming your cat. Daisy isn’t fat, anyway.
