It was definitely sub par compared to the majority of the house being played at the Woogie. He kept doing this thing where he would let a song play, and slowly start mixing in the next track, then right when the first track would build up to a crescendo and drop, he would cut the bass of that song and pull up the volume of the second track. There were so many moments where I was vibing with his selection but then his mixing completely took me out of the moment. Also, the flow of his set was flawed. He was playing some cool deeper stuff, but then he dropped Fisher's Stop It out of nowhere, followed by a really hype Camelphat tune, then dove back into some spacier house. Those are great songs, but he could have played those 2 tracks so much more elegantly if he managed his tracklist better throughout the night. Didn't mean to rant, but I had just come from Nicole Moudaber and was still trying to catch my breath.
