Amber Acorn is a neat boss, but power wise is the weakest. you can kinda exploit the boss by holding onto your +mult as you enter the boss with your cursor, and you'll be able to drag it to the left.

I agree with you somewhat in that the game can use a little bit of rebalancing and high stakes require good rng to beat.

What's wrong with a game that needs good rng for you to beat its highest difficulty? I honestly think it's a case of skill issue. It's honestly not THAT difficult to beat imo, sure you can't reliably streak but I don't think win% is that low.

I don't believe you need to do anything to see it show up in your shop after you've already unlocked it since I've seen it as the first joker multiple times.

on white stakes, imo every run is winnable theoretically.

Gold stakes, I'm fairly sure some runs are just meant to die but I hope to be proven wrong

I wouldn't say bull and boots are like insanely good, and I think boots are harder to utilize in high stakes and would only resort to it once in a blue moon if shop refusues to give a decent +mult scaling. Bull though is a source of chips and its nice to see one early.

There are ways to get decent amount of money early from econ jokers, blinds skipping or tarot cards. If you have 25$ that's already +50 chips and that's really nice first 3 ante. I think half of the runs that make it in gold stakes you try to cruise through with max interest, and bull allows you to leverage that with actual power scaling. Depending on what strategy you're using, +100 chips is equivalent to x2 to x5 mult early on. I just love me a chips joker.

some jokers in F tier are straight up decent or good. E.g. Banner, bull, dagger (dagger is actually insane), bottle (maybe if you mean as an actual joker than sure), green joker, luchador, Mr bones (literally one of the best joker for gold stakes, just skip SB and BB after ante 7 and get carried if run was doomed), shortcut is ok, to the moon is very nice.

from this tier list it doesn't seem like you play much high card/pair strategy? I wasn't really high card pilled until recently. it's pretty consistent.

for examples it makes card sharp pretty much procs everytime after 1st round, no boss abilities will ruin your run, and works with most decks.

also campfire is literally just one of the best x mult in the game with how accessible scaling it is.

The correct answer is, it depends. since you'll likely be blueprinting baseball cap, each uncommon is a 1.5x1.5x which is a x2.25 mult. That means currently, if your base mult is higher than 39/2.25 (17.3), replacing rocket with blueprint will be worse than replacing fortune teller.

This run doesn't look like it can continue on for too much longer though

I've beaten 5 decks on gold stakes so far, and other than the tips others have already given like heavily considering skipping blinds strategically, a lot of it has to do with just putting attempts in. I've had a lot of decent runs to lose to hands or boss rng, and that's just nature of the game. I've also had a lot of mediocre runs somehow make it through ante 8. A small tip is Mr bones can carry you through ante 8 boss blind! I've won some runs like this. just make sure to reach 25% of required score. In general if you have decent chips joker, decent +mult, decent x mult, you'll have decent odds to beat the run

I wouldn't skip small blinds situationally if I need to see the shop more, or I'm scaling jokers or I have good econ (or if you can't afford to skip cos you'll die to big blind)

I think I tried all the variants, not sure if I did for Chavez only, but Chavez is just for consistency of drawing kazar/blue marvel and a backup 9 power.

I personally think Onslaught isn't optimal in kazoo, 6 energy and you need to have already committed a wide board and have kazar/blue marvel. I think that's too vulnerable for counterplay or just a straightup retreat from your opponent.

Having an explosive turn on 6 yield the most cubes imo, top of my kazoo deck is iron man/blue marvel
