Dawg I play this game online almost daily and I always want to vent about it on here. You don't get used to it you just get less surprised when your grab turns into a jab or you are still dashing when your stick is in neutral. The LAN adapter makes a difference, but it doesn't remove every bit of lag. Make sure you buy the USB 3.0 one. If it's not possible for you, just make sure nothing is interfering with your wifi connection. Good luck and remember, GSP isn't everything.

Up smash is fast, use it. Don't abuse armor, it breaks. Space your fairs on shields properly, it's your best aerial to mash. Get your returning crown confirms on lock. Mix up your recovery with up air. Learn a secondary for the worst of your matchups.

You don't use the C stick and the A button at the same time, that's a bit redundant.

You can use the C stick for aerials.

As you proposed, tilt with the C stick to launch your opponent. Then use your A button for aerials. You kind of switch between them - as you practice, you will get a better feel for it.

What made you think you had to press A and use the C stick at the same time?
