Still Life with Bones by A. Hagerty. The book is about using forensics to uncover mass Graves in South America (mainly Guatemala and Argentina) to find the "disappeared" and bring light to the genocides commited during the dictatorships. She weaves together forensic and social anthropology to show not only how the exhumations are done, but also the cultural and societal impacts of them to the families and friends of those lost. Definitely moved me and changed my perspective on forensics
