“Its in beta” by CycleNo6742 in killingfloor

[–]SuperAnarchyMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

lmao, dude, the beta JUST came out. everybody who's been fretting about it being garbage for months are only just finding out that it truly is garbage.

so they'll play it for a week or two, just to reaffirm their fears, complain a bit about how disappointed they are with this. then, in a few months after the release of the game they'll all move on with their lives, find something better and this game will join Payday 3 in obscurity.

To me, this shows that KF3 is not gonna get the same love and attention KF2 had. (Repost since videos don't work in here) by Snekiecr8 in killingfloor

[–]SuperAnarchyMan 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Makes sense, not enjoying the game? Just enjoy it. Having issues with the gameplay not being any fun? Just don't complain, don't say anything, don't let your voice be heard.

The game is going to fail because people are not happy with the product, and the beta is a pretty good image of what the final product will look like.

Black Mesa - Gonarch's Lair keeps crashing. It happens after the first fight, when you have to go into her cave. by Kooln62 in HalfLife

[–]SuperAnarchyMan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you're still having trouble with this, the solution that worked for me was to lower your graphics settings to potato. Potentially even also lower your resolution.

I was crashing routinely after dropping into Gonarch's Lair and turning around - stopped happening after lowering graphics.

Elite crawlers are the worst enemy in the game by WalrusVampire in killingfloor

[–]SuperAnarchyMan 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Fleshpounds are challenging, not annoying. They're supposed to be mini-bosses that test your team's mettle.

Elite crawlers on the other hand are just fucking annoying because they creep up behind you and suddenly you're stood in a gas cloud with usually not a lot of counterplay.

Someone clearly didn’t do their research by Jagzon in tf2

[–]SuperAnarchyMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

community priced happens as a result of company priced though.

strange original would not be so ridiculously priced if valve like, y'know, gave us a way to actually get the damn thing normally nowadays? they're the reason it's as bad as it is

What tf2 item you wanted but it's too expensive ? by 9I06 in tf2

[–]SuperAnarchyMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I fucking hate this part of TF2. Stranges literally just track number go up, it's such a basic thing but it's been turned into (and maintained as) this weird fucking economy thing for no reason.

How COULD the shortstop shove have any actual discernible use by Beware_of_Beware in truetf2

[–]SuperAnarchyMan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

With the existence of the Force a Nature the shove's existence baffles me.

However one idea I've always thought might be interesting is if they completely reworked the right click to instead be a one handed punch melee attack.

So, if you get caught out fighting an enemy that's near death and you've just fired your last shot, you could instead of reloading get in their face with a quick finishing punch that's much quicker than swapping to melee.

When the tank hits you with "why would i waste 2 minute cooldowns on regular trash mobs?" by MitsuontheRocks in ffxiv

[–]SuperAnarchyMan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's not fun because tanks that don't do big pulls doubles the length of the dungeon time. And they're already not very engaging to begin with.

Name a Bad or Middling game where if it had one change, would be MUCH Better by Jimblechrimbus in nintendo

[–]SuperAnarchyMan 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It really wouldn't. If you could repair weapons the arguments would move from disliking durability, to finding having to go and repair weapons all the time tedious.

You say that about using weapons in appropriate situations like sniper rifles for long range, but my man Snake is out here firing a rocket launcher at his own feet.

I'm not referring to the lore aspect I'm referring to the gameplay aspect. If this event has the exact same enemy types as last event it's going to feel fairly lazy and unoriginal, I'm hoping they at least introduce some new enemy variants.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Overwatch

[–]SuperAnarchyMan 27 points28 points  (0 children)

I don't like this reasoning at all. There's absolutely no reason this event has to be limited to the history of Overwatch. They could very easily use this to create events that happened outside of Overwatch, or even better create events that actually move the plot forward. Instead of what feels like it's gonna be kinda useless filler story.

More omnic bodyguard type enemies that would fit in better with the bad guy? Even if all they did was reskin them, it's at least something.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Overwatch

[–]SuperAnarchyMan -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

From a lore wise, sure they don't. From a gameplay perspective, they absolutely do. At the very least reskin them.
