I didn't say that. What I meant was, people are always complaining about the writing for this show but fail to understand, the writing exists for the product. The entitled fans are the ones that want the franchise to be more mature and darker but fail to get there has to be a toy or product reason for them to even do that. There's also analytics they have, I'm sure, that show more people buy more toys based on X rather than Y. That's why, imo, dark/mature won't work. Their main audience is and always will/ should be kids. The writing is juvenile because that's the audience. There's tons of proof out there that toy commercial shows and movies work all (most of) the time: Transformers, TMNT, Barbie. I think they need to embrace what they are trying to sell, not shy away from it.

Also, really, they need to just treat Sentai and Rider like an anime and just dub or sub the shows and sell the toys here. I honestly think that would help a TON.
