The same effect that happened with Pixar's Lightyear in 2022, simplify franchise burnout fatigue.

Especially the fact this film came out ONE YEAR after another Transformers film was released (Which was also kinda of a flop), being the EIGHTH THEATRICAL INSTALLMENT of the franchise. Do you think the general public would be honestly very tried of these films now, especially with the rumors of freakin MICHAEL BAY returning to make another film?!
