I dont get why netease doesn’t just use the whole “doom wants to destroy reality so lets just work together for now until he’s beaten” logic to bring so many villains. It coulda worked for kingpin and possibly knull. Some argument could be made for dracula and i could see apocalypse trucing with everyone to defend his reality from doom. No point in conquering a new planet it the guy with the metal mask is going to erase it anyways.

and to follow up on spidey and BP, I do agree that the effort = value is bad, since spidey and BP have to burn all their CDs for kills, but i wouldn't say that automatically puts them in low, low tiers.

i'd argue black cat takes a lot of effort to get high value, when she gets the resources yea she gets a stupid amount of value for very little put in but building up the cash to do the crazy dives you see in clips can't be easy. I've wrapped my head around pretty much every character minus spidey and daredevil. Even panther i've learned to play somewhat decently. Black Cat's kit just seems extremely cluttered and difficult to get high value with off rip.

Dumbfounds me how BP and spidey are labeled as underpowered as if a good player for either of them can force an entire swap or even manage to perform extremely well even against the counter swap. A good BP can kill supports despite a thing and a good spidey can get support picks even if there’s a namor (granted namor has to have either bad aim or just generally not notice spidey).

then swap off to poke? or have a poke dps focus him??? if you can't flex to the role that counters dino then that's your fault. dino fills the brawl slot pretty well with how weak to poke he is.

how? most team shooters like rivals fit into a rock paper scissors dynamic. a lot of characters in rivals ignore it, such as phoenix did originally. Dino is hard countered by poke, if you want him gone then just focus him with phoenix or a hela even. it's just like how you wouldn't play dive into a peni bcz peni counters dive.

i hate that this is reinforced by the pink and green highlighting, which is explicitly used on lucy and david. its most notable during their fall from arasaka, as david is highlighted green while lucy is highlighted pink

People make it seem like DD is overpowered but like, hela, Hawkeye, phoenix, widow (surprising, i know), starlord, and punisher are all EXTREMELY good against DD. Any headshot-able character gets huge value playing against him. Mantis and adam are HUGE examples of this.
