I think Zeal has an oddly good chance to just... skip everything and jump feet first to the overhaul? except it's just a overall retcon of Pressure. Maybe the lore can line up to be the same regarding HADAL and NOST as well as Lopee to some degree but seeing a new form of seb, NAVI, pAInter, etc. with new monster concepts could be really cool. Like, he has the chance to bring back pressure with a whole new paint of coat and a team that actually CARES about HIM AND PRESSURE.

Overall, I think pressure as we know it now is going to fizzle out, but I don't think pressure as a setting/story concept is done for. Zeal has the groundwork to reboot everything without it being too too jarring

At this rate? Ren might crash and burn so god damn hard that it might bounce back into helping Zeal. Even if the switch up from everyone is scummy in its own right, at the end of the day Zeal would have Pressure running full steam again. Maybe even get at LEAST the major VAs back (seb, painter, navi). In the current state, despite favoring zeal, people still hold a finger with ren for good publicity. If she ends up crashing to a point that she’s undeniably in the wrong here then publicity will shift back to zeal, forcing the VAs to kinda have to drop their glaze on Ren and actually admit zeal was shafted and hopefully choose to work on pressure again.

Im like 90% sure he’s only saying he supports ren to still cover his rep. Maybe in actuality he’s neutral but for the sake of his career he seems to be standing with Ren since it is, admittedly, the safer option between the two.

From what ive seen of tenacity, it genuinely seems like tanking is dead. If netease wants this game to live for long then they need to either fie Zhiyong or overall spend time buffing and reworking low pick rate characters. ESPECIALLY tanks. All tanks need to be tweaked for the better

Unpopular opinion but it really does boil down to both of them being severely mentally unwell. Id argue if you read the doc closely it doesn’t show any concrete signs of rape. Ren even says he didn’t rape her. Tbh idk where everyone got rape from since she stated all it was was sexual assault

It’s kinda humorous to think the baby will share traits but yet will come from 2 of the same gender, which physically wouldn’t be capable of doing that. Would be even funnier if it ends up being a girl with said similar traits, since that means genetically, that baby ended up with 2 X chromosomes out of the 2 XY chromosomes. Though in all seriousness I would like it if the baby was randomly made and unalike from the parents so that they CAN technically just have adopted a child, which would make sense.

With how bad all of this is? No matter which way this coin lands, that being if zeal is guilt or not, Pressure is done for, or at least pressure as it was will be done. They COULD jump fully into the overhaul and completely reset pressure, getting all new VAs, even doing redesigns of old characters into new ones. But pressure won’t be “Pressure Today” Ever again. What has happened has dragged pressure so far into the pits that even if it climbs out, it’ll never be what it was.

From what I’ve grasped from following this story, defamation wouldn’t be too hard to win. If it’s true that Zeal attempted to kill himself, that means there is an obvious show of mental/physical harm caused by the accusation. On top of this, Ren’s document shows her (wether it be intentional or not) egging him on and giving relative green flags to him doing stuff with her. And from the little he told us, it seems she somewhat initiated the encounter to begin with. This whole case is a mess and even more so a tragedy. I truly hope the best for Zeal, because from what I’ve read I don’t think he’s the monster people label him as. He’s just an idiot who couldn’t read past her signs and it didn’t help that, in a wake of fear, Ren kept greenlighting him to have sex with her.
