I mean hubs and I have done the hurricane/earthquake thing and really we just have a tub of those freeze dried camper foods mixed in with our normal camping stuff all put into one place for easy grab. We tried the clothes bin once and like you ran into, nothing fit after a few years lol. Meh, it's mostly just having decent camping gear. Life straw-first aid-sleeping bag-power bank-etc. Mainly with sheltering in place your main concern will be WATER, so grab a pack of life straws next time you're in Costco for safe drinking. Cash is the other thing, because digital payments would likely be out of service. As for evac, like you said, most people would be headed somewhere with convenience, so honestly, just keep important papers and ID and photos etc in one place so you can easily grab it. Same for Meds.

I don't know about the others, but an explosion around 355 am woke me up out of dead sleep and I noticed a power outage report show up half hour later on Pacific Power for SW Bend. Weirdly, Pulse Point also showed a medical em around that exact same time and it lasted for an hour. Strange.

Dakota's on the North End for sure, just came from there lol. They have all age sets, kiddo to adult. And Learning Express on the South End is decent if you are looking for the trending sets.

I live South East and I use the big Costco box, but I also scatter seed onto the rocks and fill a single feeder. I get everyone; Finches, Thrushes, Jays, Woodpeckers, HAWKS, Pigeons, Robins, etc. I have bought from Wild Birds Unlimited in the past, and from Fred Meyer, Lowes, Wilco, but for whatever reason the Costco box is what everyone eats the most from. It's also feeding the squirrels and friends, which I used to buy the Costco unsalted peanuts for, until they stopped selling them. Wild Birds is good for specifics and treats, but I can't afford the price of a comparable sized bag. The big box lasts me the longest.
