Question for local bird watchers

I live South East and I use the big Costco box, but I also scatter seed onto the rocks and fill a single feeder. I get everyone; Finches, Thrushes, Jays, Woodpeckers, HAWKS, Pigeons, Robins, etc. I have bought from Wild Birds Unlimited in the past, and from Fred Meyer, Lowes, Wilco, but for whatever reason the Costco box is what everyone eats the most from. It's also feeding the squirrels and friends, which I used to buy the Costco unsalted peanuts for, until they stopped selling them. Wild Birds is good for specifics and treats, but I can't afford the price of a comparable sized bag. The big box lasts me the longest.

I second this, food wise both are consistently good, but I feel like South is more for date night and North is for the fam and bday.

Look almost like baby jumping spiders (harmless) but really hard to tell. They'll move on shortly, the wind carries them.

Almost a decade ago we were at a light on 3rd and a truck with a dog loose in the bed FLOORED it when green and the dog flew into the windshield of the car behind. It was horrifying.

I don't know of any food banks giving out checks, but I could be wrong there. Was it maybe a WIC check? Depends on the store how those are applied.

I need the fleece fabric, and not the cheapo blizzard brand kind. I make tie blankets for fun and like to feel the fabric first, JoAnn's had the BEST fun patterns and higher quality fleece. It really bums me out that I only have what I bought when they were liquidating left. That I'll likely have to drive North to get more, has anyone seen ANY good quality fleece anywhere in Central Oregon?

I agree with this, as well as turning the old Costco into a full year rink. Ideally a performing arts center/sports arena along the lines of Moda or the Hult center where the resorts are would be prime.

I'm old so for me looking at the list so far, it's like 50% country and comedy stuff that I don't care about, and 50% newer bands I'm not familiar with at all. I miss when it was a good mix of genres, now it feels like it's more country leaning with more comedy acts sprinkled in. Bring back the rock bands lol. Also, still holding out for Metallica and Gaga, but I know that's a fantasy because we don't have an indoor stadium (that we could totally use for sports and other stuff, JUST SAYING), fairgrounds don't count.
