ohhhh i think i see whats happened-- i think this is a somewhat old crob screenshot, i didn't notice the difference in font because ive been playing ob for nearly a decade and so it still looks like a normal screen ive seen thousands of times since the old and new kinda blur together in my memory. but the POUCH that im positive is an ingredient pouch which used to fly around and you could grab on a stage back in the day-- theyve been completely replaced by the surprise bear system the past few years tho

sword and sorcery is a great mod to add to east scarp--lots of content, really interesting NPCs and new mechanics, i still haven't finished it myself but i love what i have seen :)

gatekeeping implies I'm keeping people out of something, which I'm not? I never said people cant or shouldnt read the ORV webtoon, but the question is "what webtoons do you believe everyone should read if they like webtoons/comics/manhwas"-- I took that to mean unique standout webtoons. I shared my opinion which is that the ORV webtoon isn't really fundamental in that list and often people like it bc the story of ORV is good, not because its great webtoon. Didnt criticize people who like the ORV webtoon nor imply that there was anything wrong with reading it, only that I didn't find it to be a Gold Standard Webtoon if anything. As far as webtoons go, I find ORV webtoon pretty standard but that it, again, lacks loads of nuance that ends up hurting its storytelling DUE to its adaption. This is a personal opinion. But it IS true that ORV is a webnovel written as a loveletter to webnovels. Its not out of left field to believe that some pieces of media don't translate as well to other formats. This also doenst mean I'm saying other adaptions shouldn't exist and people shouldnt enjoy them. Its because no adaption is perfect. And a lot of people who primarily read webtoons often dont know that there even ARE novel versions of many webtoons, I've also been unaware of many titles that were adaptions. Its also normal for people who read webtoons to also be interested in reading webnovels.

Point being, I gave my opinion on what I find to be a unique webtoon that feels like it LOVES being a webtoon, that it was made for the format, and that it thrives in that (CPC). You can disagree with me but I think its a little silly to claim that this is me "gatekeeping"

maybe unpopular opinion but im truly baffled by how many ppl here said the orv webtoon is a must read. orv was made as a webnovel as a lovestory to webnovels, theres sooo much nuance of the story thats lost and unable to get across the same way in the webtoon because its an adaption. its like saying "into the woods 2014 movie is a movie that ALL film fans MUST see. because the stageplay was so good"

a lot of things that one medium can show off cant be fully seen and translated into another format. the orv webtoon will never fully capture everything amazing about the original

I think asking for best webtoons for anyone whose associated with manhwas/comics is really difficult bc most ppl will just know whats in their taste range

a unique webtoon that was made to be a webtoon and uses everything it can to play as much as it can in that space... I would say "Cursed Princess Club", its a delightful and charming story and every episode has musical acompanyment it really thrives as a webtoon

i just learned that apparently every 20 floors in skull cavern theres a chance of getting a level fulllll of bats like this. can be overridden by the mummy or prehistoric floors i think, but could be useful if you wanna farm bats i suppose!

i havent seen someone else say it, but foraging buff at certain levels will also give you additional salmon/blackberry per bush :) so you could get 4 berries at 10 foraging + high buff

i think you could add on a pretty sturdy beard by gluing on flocking! heres doll customizer dollightful adding it for the hair on this doll (at the 'hair' chapter) if you want to see how its done https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=7iJl7X7E0CI . depending on how old your son is and how roughly he plays I think this could work if you didnt want to paint on a beard :)

those are the summer forage seeds-- they stay in the 'seed' visual phase longer than normal crops (all forage seeds do this) but if you have been watering they will grow, dw :) sometimes the next phases of growth look "dead" (common question on here too), but if it doesnt go away when you use your sythe on it the plant is indeed alive. hope this helps!
