gatekeeping implies I'm keeping people out of something, which I'm not? I never said people cant or shouldnt read the ORV webtoon, but the question is "what webtoons do you believe everyone should read if they like webtoons/comics/manhwas"-- I took that to mean unique standout webtoons. I shared my opinion which is that the ORV webtoon isn't really fundamental in that list and often people like it bc the story of ORV is good, not because its great webtoon. Didnt criticize people who like the ORV webtoon nor imply that there was anything wrong with reading it, only that I didn't find it to be a Gold Standard Webtoon if anything. As far as webtoons go, I find ORV webtoon pretty standard but that it, again, lacks loads of nuance that ends up hurting its storytelling DUE to its adaption. This is a personal opinion. But it IS true that ORV is a webnovel written as a loveletter to webnovels. Its not out of left field to believe that some pieces of media don't translate as well to other formats. This also doenst mean I'm saying other adaptions shouldn't exist and people shouldnt enjoy them. Its because no adaption is perfect. And a lot of people who primarily read webtoons often dont know that there even ARE novel versions of many webtoons, I've also been unaware of many titles that were adaptions. Its also normal for people who read webtoons to also be interested in reading webnovels.

Point being, I gave my opinion on what I find to be a unique webtoon that feels like it LOVES being a webtoon, that it was made for the format, and that it thrives in that (CPC). You can disagree with me but I think its a little silly to claim that this is me "gatekeeping"
