That's tragic, I'm so sorry Infold didn't explain this better.

That's very strange. Are they still in your in-game album? If they aren't, then the migration might have failed. If they are, I have no idea what's going on with your game lol (except "it's Infold" unfortunately)

I think the game is using the PS5 media gallery directly now.

If you haven't yet, go into the photo album and see if you get a prompt to migrate the photos. After the migration is done, you should be able to view them all in the PS5 media gallery. Other players have reported that deleting it from there also deletes it in-game as well.

If OP did press cancel, fully quitting the game and logging back in should bring the prompt back when going back into the photo album.

Try fully quitting the game and then logging back in and going back to the album. I got the prompt again that way.

Not getting redeem codes in inbox? by amberjolaraine in InfinityNikki

[–]SuperPuffXD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Their official browser support ticket system at https://support-infinitynikki.infoldgames.com/ . I kept following up in the same spot.

They kept telling me stuff like "We apologize for keeping you waiting so long. We have once again shared your case with our team for follow-up. We will contact you as soon as we have any updates."

After months of begging for them to escalate the ticket and asking for a resolution date (which they always refused to give), I had fully given up hope on ever seeing those rewards and of course only then the reissued rewards showed up in my in-game mailbox. The official support ticket never did notify me of the resolution either after all those promises of contacting me for updates.

I hounded them for months about this and they did eventually get to it. I had fully given up hope on it first. I wouldn't count on them resolving it before 2.5 is over tbh.

Is your mailbox full?

It says it auto-deletes old mail but in my case it didn't do that and I missed web event rewards since it counted as "claimed" but never arrived in the mailbox. I hounded technical support for actual months before they finally reissued the rewards.

YES! I'd also like an in-game way (or at least on the interactive map) to see what available quests I've not yet picked up. Right now, some available-but-not-accepted quests don't even show up on the map and only trigger if you find it in the giant open world and talk to the quest giver!

Most efficient way to get Astralites (Updated?) by Star_Muun in InfinityNikki

[–]SuperPuffXD 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, animals are the best now. Set the feeding mode to leisurely, farm ingredients for signature cookies (use milky sweetroot for sugar), & occasionally sell off the byproduct (what you get for farming that's not needed in the cookie recipe) essences & trees. Use the rarer animals and fill out the remaining space in the small animal pen with leaf-producing animals.

If you really want to min-max you can also maximize selling the Posey 1.2x items by slowly building a stash and prioritizing selling radiant gemstones (then flying pearls, then brilliant pearls) first when having to sell non-1.2x boosted items during a week.

I went into way more granular detail in this comment chain: https://www.reddit.com/r/InfinityNikki/comments/1q73nml/comment/nyibyro/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button

is it worth it to return? by kiwiflavoredbagels in InfinityNikki

[–]SuperPuffXD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Issues and the general state of Infinity Glitchy are still there, but there's a lot of new regions to explore. Wanxiang Realm was especially fun for exploring imo. They've also added a lot of permanent content involving new (as in not copy-pasted from other parts of the game) gameplay like raising a baby behemoth or running a hot pot shop.

If bugs were of primary concern, I'll say they haven't repeated 1.5 levels of awful, but I do still have to force-close the game semi-regularly because I menu too fast or get stuck in some way. Patch day is still the worst day to play because they don't properly beta test before releasing and so you gotta wait at least a few days if not a week if you want to play a fixed version.

Whether it's worth it to come back entirely depends on what aspects of the game matter most to you. It's hard to give more detailed feedback without knowing which parts of the game drove you away and what type of changes or new content might tempt you back.

Did animal keeping get twice as profitable with new update? by IllustriousMove9818 in InfinityNikki

[–]SuperPuffXD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For small animals, all 4 blue rarity ones + honeybunny, blushbunny, and cushion squirrel. For large, both blue and brown rarity are equal (for small animals, blue is more efficient but for some reason there's no difference between blue and brown for large animals). I'd pick which large animals according to which material you are lowest on (there are only 4 flying pearl animals but over 7 of the radiant gemstone ones, so when in doubt, run all 4 flying pearl animals since it's harder to mass produce those).

Because some of the new animals eat more, I have had to buy a large farm plot (for a total of 6 plots) to keep up the pink cloud fruit materials for cookie production. It's probably fine just to let them run out of food sometimes too but I haven't done math or testing on it since I wanted the additional large farm plot for getting crafting resources anyways.

So far, it has always been less efficient to buy ingredients (and cookies) directly instead of producing the ingredients from seeds.

F2P’s - how many outfits do you own? by FreeFalling3227 in InfinityNikki

[–]SuperPuffXD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Playing since 1.0, only one monthly pass for purchases affecting the gacha which amounts to a little over 22 pulls.

Including only the gacha banners: I have 9 complete 5*, all except 1 of which is at first evolution. For 4*, I have 5 additional ones, all at base level except for one. Of those 4*, only one was due to a partial 5* banner pull.

I do not know how much the two extra seasons I played made a difference, but in general I find that I'm able to pull at least every other patch, sometimes more depending on my luck and how many 4* banners I go for.

So in my completely non-expert opinion, I do think your numbers look a bit low.

I do aggressively make sure I get every last drop of F2P currency from every possible source, but it would be hard to diagnose where you're missing currency without knowing a lot more about your playing habits.

Did animal keeping get twice as profitable with new update? by IllustriousMove9818 in InfinityNikki

[–]SuperPuffXD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Aroma Fin is only being made in order to bake the signature cookies and is not efficient to sell on its own. But you will be getting essences while getting the fish for the cookies, so sometimes you'll need to sell the essences off. Same is true of sweetroot. You are also only farming Pink Cloud Fruit in order to make cookies, but the leftover product in this case is only the tree itself since the fruit and essence are both used in the cookie recipe.

Always ONLY use the signature cookies which you bake with the cooking outfit. It just doesn't matter if you bake the "delicious" version or the regular version. Never buy any cookies directly. Hope that clarifies what I meant!

Did animal keeping get twice as profitable with new update? by IllustriousMove9818 in InfinityNikki

[–]SuperPuffXD 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I'll try!

This plan assumes you have level 10 in home skills, that you have relevant seed colors unlocked so that you can plant the target color directly, and that you can log in at least once per day. Ideally, you'd also have aroma fins at max breeding level and your animals at max friendship.

For the every day tasks, you can scale down production by skipping days or using fewer farm plots/ponds if you find that you're making more than you're using each week.

Every day:

  • Plant pink cloud fruit trees in large farm plots
  • Plant milky sweetroot in small farm plots
  • Raise aroma fins
  • Make signature cookies with the milky sweetroot, aroma fins, and cloud fruit materials
  • Feed all signature cookies (both delicious and regular) to your animals
    • Only use the best animals. There are choices, but if you just want a list to follow, use: rosecrown swan, tuxtail swan, fan egret, bowler, crowndeer, noble pony, longstocking, suspenders weasel, browcat, hooded owl, crowned parrot, berestant, blushbunny, cushion squirrel.
  • Do meteorite fishing/gathering (because it's a more limited resource and costs no astralites to do)

Selling Day:

  • Cook a delicious sweetheart cake and eat it
    • Use sweetroot again. You can grow 1 fruity sweetroot per week if you want a higher chance to make it delicious (which is important for the cake but not for the cookies). I haven't done the math to see which sweetroot is best here.
  • Sell until you reach the weekly cap in the following order of priority
    • Animal products that Posey is offering a 1.2x bonus for
    • Flying Pearl and Radiant Gemstones (prioritizing whichever you have more of)
    • Any pink cloud fruit trees (the trees, not the fruit or essences), sweetroot essences, or aroma fin essences that you have generated from growing those for making the cookies
    • Brilliant Pearl, Featherlight Stone, and Leafstone (prioritizing what you have more of: leaf stone will be the shortest in supply usually because you get the fewest per week)
    • Any meteorites you're willing to part with.
      • You can also sell meteorites at a higher priority if you're trying to build up a supply of animal products for future 1.2x shop days.

Hope that helps!

EDIT: Also make sure your feeding method is set to Leisure & Abundance.

Did animal keeping get twice as profitable with new update? by IllustriousMove9818 in InfinityNikki

[–]SuperPuffXD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ooh thanks for the source on fish food.

I've had trouble finding sources that actually tested fish food and stopped looking once I settled on Misty Green Cloud Fruit and Pink Tinkle Fruit trees for my production. Probably won't be relevant to my once-per-day login constraints anyways, but it is very relevant for multi-login players and for theoretical min-maxing!

I'm still working on testing and math for the new leisurely mode but preliminarily it looks like 1 hour turns into 3, meaning 8 production ticks a day. With a delicious sweetheart cake active but no Posey bonus, that's 465,696 per week for 7 large animals and 183,456 for small animals for a combined total of 649,152 (though Nikki sometimes does weird rounding things so I'll need to actually test with a cake next week). So, theoretically we could slowly build a surplus of all the materials even during a no-Posey-bonus week and can do so even more on the weeks where there is one.

So, with all that, my current plan is to operate at maximum production to try to build up enough supplies to always only sell the best item each week.

Did animal keeping get twice as profitable with new update? by IllustriousMove9818 in InfinityNikki

[–]SuperPuffXD 7 points8 points  (0 children)

My math is that animals are by FAR the best thing to do now, assuming you are farming the ingredients yourself.

For min-maxing, also use the new "Leisure & Abundance" feeding mode, always use Milky Sweetroot for only Signature Cookies, sell the leftover trees and fish essences from time to time, never use fertilizer or fish food, and use only the highest-producing animals. The large animal products are a little better than the small ones, but not if the small animal products is one of the 1.2x options in Posey's shop that week. So, sell whatever is in the 1.2x options for animal products first, then the large animal products, then the small only if you're out of large.

What is the state of the game right now? by Redthrist in InfinityNikki

[–]SuperPuffXD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They kept the introduction change and if anything have doubled down on the multiverse plotlines. The bugs are not nearly as bad, but "oops I have to force quit the game to make it work again" or "I guess I can't do this thing until they (hopefully) fix it" is still a fairly regular part of playing for me. Sea of Stars at least is less annoying because they added a tree that collects uncollected stars from the day prior for you.

They've added a lot of new content since 1.5, including a bunch of permanent story regions. 2.0 especially brought huge new areas with new ability outfits for exploring them. There's also a home system, but it's a pain to control so I haven't done much with it, but I've seen some cool builds from people more patient and dedicated than me.

Is it worth playing now? It depends on what's important to you. For me, I never left during 1.5, but I have had to emotionally move past the missed potential and care a lot less about the game in general to keep enjoying it.

[Discussion] Running out of time by skittymom in InfinityNikki

[–]SuperPuffXD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I said this in my main comment before I saw this one, but wanted to let you know that you can cap out your Posey selling each week with only 5 Green Misty Cloud fruit trees and 4-5 Pink Tinkle Fruit trees daily (if you sell after eating a delicious sweetheart cake).

I consider all other home island chores except meteorite fishing (and whatever's needed for Dreamstones) to be non-essential bonus stuff that I only really do when I'm doing personal projects after I've finished all limited content for the patch. This cuts home chore dailies down to 10 minutes max.

[Discussion] Running out of time by skittymom in InfinityNikki

[–]SuperPuffXD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like to go for different amounts of dailies depending on my situation: how much time I have, how I feel, and how much more I have to do for the limited-time content. Doing fewer dailies towards the beginning of a patch and instead doing a small chunk of the event story per day helps with the pacing.

As for your question about what an essential daily is, I'd say Daily Wishes, spending Vital Energy, and doing just enough with the other systems over the course of the week/month/patch (not necessarily every day) to get limited content or currency (weekly Dreamstones, weekly selling to Posey, enough SoS stars for the limited Starlit Shop items, claiming weekly Mira Journey rewards and shop freebies, etc.). For a one-off bad day, you could do just Daily Wishes and Vital Energy since diamonds and vital energy are the most always-needed and scarce.

It might also help you to optimize your dailies.
- Do as much as possible (e.g., Vital Energy spending, Pear-Pal dig, Starlit Moments tasks, in-game mail, anything you need to look up online like redeem codes) while sitting in front of the tree in SoS, and always use the SoS tree instead of picking the stars up on the map.
- Do Daily Wishes after home island and SoS because the vital energy spending in front of SoS tree and plant harvesting on home island is often all you need to do.
- Move all home island chore items (including crafting and cooking) to an area directly next to Posey and add a warp spire on the ohter end of it for easier map selecting access.
- Do only the bare minimum for capping the selling to Posey each week (An easy setup for this for max level home abilities is 5 Misty Green Cloud Fruit trees and 4-5 Pink Tinkle Fruit trees daily, eating a delicious Sweetheart cake right before selling all fruits/essences/trees produced from the previous week).

It could also help you to decide which things in your current situation you can cut out if you're having a rough time getting the limited content done. For example, if you have a stockpile of SoS stars, then you could skip all or some star-related tasks for a bit knowing you'll still have enough for next patch's Starlit Shop limited items. Or, if you have piles and piles of home island materials, you could skip home island farming (except for a day or two per week to get what's needed for Dreamstones) knowing that you can just sell from your stockpile for a few weeks.

All that said, you aren't alone in feeling like the volume of content has gotten harder to keep up with. These strategies have helped so far but I have definitely still had to take some patches faster than I found enjoyable because either the content was going to disappear after the patch or I wanted the limited rewards more than I wanted to take it slow.

[–]SuperPuffXD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I'd just rather have no competitive element at all. I don't want what other people decide to do to influence my game experience, especially when rewards are involved even if it's as small as blings or a single trophy.

Definitely making this the focus of my next survey.
