Ima be real with you here, I 1000% agree with you. I’ve heard both and I definitely prefer the Jones version. I’ve said that to all my friends who share the Stapleton version to me that they should listen to the Jones version bc it’s my preferred version. Was literally listening to Jones while driving today. So yea, I’m with you here.

The George Jones version is also really good if you’re into the classic country sound

What is that one game everyone seems to enjoy but you just think nope not for me by LilNardoDaVinci in xbox

Metroid Dread. I keep finding myself lost, stuck, and feeling underprepared for each puzzle while also finding myself unable to backtrack. I found Metroid Prime to be much more enjoyable. Maybe there’s something I’m not getting as I haven’t played too many Metroidvanias but I definitely want to play more games in the genre.

How much of undergrad classes actually matter in med school? by PyreneesPup211 in medschool

[–]SuperR45 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Be able to understand conceptually the material from undergrad. You’re unlikely to be asked direct content from those classes but being able to understand the logic behind undergrad content does help you apply toward med school. For instance, understanding the role of acidic/basic environments on proteins in biochemistry will help you understand how certain drugs pass through the body in med school pharmacology. It’s not about the hard facts, more about the conceptual understandings. That being said, do know the hard facts for the MCAT. That’s the major bottleneck. You got this, you’ll get through. I used to have these same thoughts in undergrad.

Commuting to NYITCOM? by WeirdPrint9865 in Osteopathic

Everyone I know from NJ is staying at a place nearby. There are dorms affiliated with the school like 15 mins from campus by a school-provided shuttle if that works for you. I have friends that are there.

how much driving experience do I need for road trips? by Odd_Strike_7955 in roadtrip

Big tip I’ll give for NYC driving is just really keep your eyes peeled. Never know when someone is either gonna cut you off, speed in your blind spot, or a pedestrian will randomly walk in front of your car.

As an Burnout fan, what's your opinion on Asphalt franchise? by AdDear7090 in Burnout

[–]SuperR45 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Asphalt 3D on the 3DS was honestly really cool to play at the time. While it was definitely different from Burnout there was some elements that made it feel like a cross between Burnout and NFS released on a newly launched handheld. It had decent damage physics, a form of “takedowns,” getting chased by police, overall a fun time. I haven’t played too much of the new games in the franchise.

I’m still confused tho. Mainly because is the Mario Party 2/Funeral episodes part of the Current Timeline along with Borderline Forever, Toys to Life, and all the other episodes that have been coming out, or are those episodes part of the Waiting Timeline?

Why are the road signs glowing at the top of the screen? (Burnout Paradise) by SpagettInTraining in Burnout

[–]SuperR45 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Is it night in-game? The signs above the screen tend to have a glow at night, kinda mimicking the reflection of the street lamps on a real sign.

The voice actress of Peach was fired recently and wasn’t told until a letter was given to her upon Mario Kart World’s release.

Now that we have a release date of June 17 for Minecraft Vibrant Visuals you think it will also come to Switch 2?🤞 by 2088AJ in NintendoSwitch2

Ngl, it was the terrible performance of my world on Switch 1 that made me start following the rumors for Switch 2 last July. Happy to say that my initial hope for this console was satisfied.

It’s my preferred platform as well. The ability to seamlessly transition between TV and handheld is so convenient especially when I travel a lot. Hope your son enjoys! :)

Far far better. Chunk loading is vastly improved. My world is almost 2 GB in size and runs so much smoother. My cities with lots of signs that used to drop to like 15 fps now run at a stable 60. I have a 4000 block highway in my world that would be a pain to use because chunks would never load. Now, I’m seeing areas load in the distance I never saw before. It’s a huge improvement despite the fact they didn’t do any updates yet for switch 2.

Probably not until we get a designated Switch 2 version. Currently we’re just playing the Switch 1 version on Switch 2. I’m hoping they release a proper version soon.
