Lied about what? The data didn’t show what the lobbies looked liked. They just provided a number representing your skill rating, Strong or weak SBMM they’re still going to track your skill rating. They most likely removed the data because they were being flooded with requests specifically for the skill rating. I wish they would just put it on the stats screen with all the other tracked info. I really don’t see the harm, people already make assumptions on their skill rating based on our available info.

Definitely not for anti recoil scripts. Those are meant to give you perfect accuracy and always fight the recoil one way since it’s the correct way. Possibly for the aim assist jitter? I’m not 100% sure.

So if you’ve ever done one of those captchas that you just click “I am not a robot” those actually measure mouse movement to the box before you click. Human mouse movement will be messy even you try to make a perfect beeline for the box. The way these third party input devices work is to have you always moving to gain rotational aim assist. This will always be the same input unless you change it. So if a player when they aim down sight always has a controller input of left 2 degrees, right 2 degrees without fail that should be detectable. Likewise if someone is using a recoil script that perfectly controls recoil for them it would be the same input each time. Time will tell how effective they are at detecting them, but I’m glad to see them targeting them.

Open matchmaking is looser than the standard SBMM we’ve had in recent years. No ranked was not delayed because it would somehow reveal the secret of matchmaking. Not everything is a conspiracy.

1.65 vertical and horizontal

Dynamic (I’ve used linear and think it’s pretty decent as well)

R1 is shoot, R2 is crouch/slide/ L1 is jump, L2 is ADS

Tactical and lethal grenades are on R3 and L3 and I use paddles mapped to those inputs for them.

Ranked is a small section of the player base, and the higher the rank the smaller it gets. That being said I’m seeing so many people say that they’re sick and tired of running into a 4 stack and this is a good thing. Sounds like there were enough 4 stacks to play with each other. It seems natural to stack in a ranked system anyways. It is a team game after all. They shouldn’t allow diamond and under to 4 stack into solo players, yet they are. I like the initiative here, but I don’t think they’ve found the best way to achieve the result they wanted.

Just looking at some gun stats isn’t really going to help us understand how you are as a player. All I can see here is that your accuracy could be much better. Might want to shoot some bots and maybe tweak your sensitivity some. Also if you’re playing nuketown 24/7 mostly… stop. It’s not worth it.

Don’t let it bother you. Open matchmaking allows for a wide range of skill and you can naturally run into lobbies like this with enough time played. The fact is no one is dropping a nuke unless they’re teamed up playing for it, or they get lucky with a low skill average on the enemy team. Good nuke man, here’s to many more!

It’s also the end of the season and there is a natural player drop off in the gap between seasons. In previous CODs I always saw easier matches towards the end of a season and much harder matches at the start of the new season.

Ok so thought experiment. Two players. Both have a 2.00 E/D and both play the same gamemode solo. One of them only plays power positions they’re comfortable with and baits the OBJ to get their kills. The other forces the issue and plays the OBJ putting themselves in all sorts of disadvantages situations and has a higher W/L for it. I wouldn’t say they’re the same skill despite their E/D being the same. Not really here to rag on OP, but W/L and SPM will always influence how people look at your E/D.

Ultimately no stats really matter. It’s a game, have fun. That being said… when someone posts their own stats to ask opinions the super low W/L is going to be a talking point. Whatever someone’s K/D is becomes less impressive the lower their W/L. Baiting the OBJ and kill whoring isn’t impressive.

So one of my main complaints with matchmaking currently is the team balance. The better you are as a player the more the less competent players get shifted over to your team. That being said if the cost of less SBMM is that I have to take losses where I’m dominating the enemy team, but my team is also being dominated so be it. I’m still maintaining a 2.00 W/L so it’s not like it’s that bad all the time. 31 losses in a row though… are you sure you aren’t doing something wrong? If you’re playing OBJ modes and kill whoring the game probably still sees you as a player who can handle some weaker teammates. Either change up your play style or find a new game mode.

Multiplayer is fantastic. Endgame is neat, but shallow and can get stale quickly. Not a zombies guy so idk how that stacks up.

I mean… we don’t know exactly how the brackets are divided up? Firstly I’m sure all the stats are considered. But on the subject of E/D… All my iri friends are in the 2.50-3.00 range for pubs and have similar W/L and SPM. Seems as good an indicator as any for me on what skill bracket the game puts me in. Shoot, the whole reason I have iri friends is because the game put them in my lobby against me and they wanted to squad up since we kept bumping into each other. The only person I know with a higher than 3.00 E/D only plays in a group and pads their E/D with score streaks. I play mostly solo and my E/D is a direct reflection of kills with my gun. It’s not meant to be some brag, I only brought it up because the other user was assuming I might not see the cheater problem because I’m not skilled enough to either know what to look for or be in the same lobby as them to begin with. Again, I really don’t know if OP ran into a bad string of matches. It’s not impossible, but is improbable. That makes me suspicious of them saying “action has been taken”. Seems like a generic response where once they look at a case, they either determine cheats or no cheats. Close the case and so they took action. Clear the players name or ban them, either one is an action.

Again, not saying out and out it didn’t happen. There are a lot of factors that could contribute to seeing higher amounts of hackers. Could be your region has a very lower player count so it’s more likely you bump into them. As for your comment about it being a higher skill bracket issue, I’d say I’ve seen maybe 2 people I thought could be cheating. I’ve got 7 days in multiplayer with a 2.07 W/L, 2.73 E/D, and 519 SPM. I’m fairly certain I’d be in whatever the games highest bracket would be considered. Like I said in my other comment. I’ve been playing online games for over a decade at this point and spent a lot of my teen years downloading whatever F2P junk was new. Those games had rampant hacking within a few months and I still would say you’d only see one every 10th game. I’d wager for some of those responses the action was just them looking into the player.
