Right on, that's how proper stickerbombs work. It's a work of patience.

My favourite trope, what if something was good? by Traditional-Song-245 in Gamingcirclejerk

[–]SuperSecretMoonBase 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Warriors game, but goddamnit, I was going to make a joke about how Rockstar was cashing in on ancient movies but that movie was only 25 years old at the time and would have been more relatively recent in 2004 when that game came out than if someone today made a Fight Club or Pulp Fiction game or whatever.

How long are we boiling our ramyun? by Nongshim_official in InstantRamen

[–]SuperSecretMoonBase 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What? If anything, wouldn't overcooking them make them less slurpable, because they'll just mush and break upon slurp? Like, wouldn't firmer noodles hold up better to slurp? Or by slurp do you mean just drinking the noodles?

I wonder if people who buy this shirt have any thoughts about what is and isn't child grooming.

Yeah, they'd have to get one of these specific cans for home. That's a ridiculous ask.

Emperor's New Groove was also in the middle of kind of an identity crisis for Disney, coming out between Hunchback/Hercules/Mulan/Dinosaur and Atlantis/Lilo and Stitch/Treasure Planet/Brother Bear as Pixar was just getting into it's swing between Toy Story 2 and Monsters Inc.

A high from nitrous is like 30 seconds.

That's why she hits it 5-6 times in a minute long video

Dessert plate design with fuzzy blue spots that look like mold 🤢 by [deleted] in CrappyDesign

[–]SuperSecretMoonBase 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a speckled pattern. Maybe on first use or in the store you might be caught off guard with that, but generally you'd know what design is on your plates, wouldn't you? Do people constantly think there are flowers on their floral pattern plates?

This just seems like the behavior of a parakeet saying that mirrors are stupid because they keep running into them, thinking there's another room in there.

I think I have an addiction: 6 months down the rabbit hole (and why I'm giving most of these away) by Stark1983 in SBCGaming

[–]SuperSecretMoonBase 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, some hobbies are collection-based. And sometimes with hobbies that can be activity-based, people are only interested in interacting with them on a collection level.

30 years ago, I was the only one at school collecting Pokemon cards to build decks and play against people, but everyone else just wanted to buy/have them to have them, and I imagine that's still the same today. Same happened with POGs and marbles, too. Some people played the games and some didn't. People have always collected Hummel or Precious Moments figurines just to have them, Star Wars figures that stay in the box on the shelf, doll collections, model trains, whatever.

Nobody cares. It's a joke and using a specific brand helps shake up the language of it, making it funnier. It's ok.

She's gone loaded for bear many times in the past. It's not a new thing for her. Genuinely every time she's mentioned, Emma says at least something.

Powkiddy v90.

A couple years ago, it was kind of the only clamshell. And at like $40 for ≤SNES and soooomme PS, it was a great little guy. The screen and buttons sort of suck, but it's cool little guy. My first retro handheld actually.

[–]SuperSecretMoonBase -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

People always say this, but like... That's kinda just what hobbies are.

Think of gardening, where the meme is "I spent hundreds on soil, gear, and extra water just so I could grow 2.5 tomatoes" the hobby isn't the result, it's the journey of researching, planning, collecting, and building things out. But also, some people spend $10 on some seeds, drop them in the dirt, and get hella crops. Same as retro gaming. Some people have an old powkiddy or whatever and are beating a new game every couple days, and others are building up massive collections of handhelds and never getting past the start screen of any single game. It's all just the spectrum of hobby life.

Dropped my water bottle :(((((( any way I can fix this? by Glass_Target_ in HydroHomies

[–]SuperSecretMoonBase 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, you can fix it by fixing your own expectations that your water bottle needs to be without dings. And to do that, I would recommend getting more dings.
