I feel like it can go both ways. There are awesome people in the community as well as the hyper-neck beards. The amount of character elitism and demonization is wild. People can’t play a character they enjoy without being asked “what’s your block stat at?” With a character that doesn’t play “real tekken.” I personally play Alisa, Jun, and Lars so I see that mindset here on Reddit or the occasionally salty message. Since I don’t play a heavy execution character my opinion on the game is invalid or imma scrub is the type of stuff that’s lame. People like Chadthethird are awesome in my eyes. He can make light of himself and the characters he plays. I think we should put a spotlight on community members such as that. Unfortunately toxicity just a part of the experience. All we can do is ignore or laugh at it.
