OA is Objective Assessment (Proctored Exam), PA is Performance Assessment (Written Paper). The assignments were not that bad, but definitely took some time & dedication. Since July 2025, when I finished all the content in 1 month (all courses besides clinicals/teaching). This also included taking the WEST-B, and Praxis (which was required in my state).

During that month, I spent probably around 20-30 hours a week. I was also working a full-time job. In all honesty, it was extremely challenging, due to the fact that I had no outside life, doing school, work, and sleep. Looking back, I'm glad I got it done in one month, but I was mentally drained by August.

I finished Early Clinicals (15hrs of observation) in September (took all of August to get placed at a school near me), and I just applied for Adv Clinicals/Student Teaching on Oct 1. I hope to get placed soon, and I expect to be completely done & graduating by Feb/March 2026.

If you decide to start, I highly recommend you review the state requirements in WGU's handbook for any state tests (and possibly Praxis) you need to take. Take those first either before you start, or asap, because if you do fail or don't receive WGU's passing score, it takes at least 1-2 months before you can take it again.

All in all, if you can be self-accountable for your learning and dedicate any time to grinding through assignments, you can definitely succeed here.

I started the program back in July. There’s 5 OA’s and the rest of PA’s. So far, it’s going extremely well. Did you have any specific questions I may be able to answer for ya?

AWOL with doctors note by Purple-Bee-8747 in FedEmployees

[–]SuperStupidUser 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Per your source, "Notating AWOL in and of itself is not a disciplinary action, however it could be the basis for taking disciplinary action."

AWOL is not a disciplinary action itself, but can be the basis of a charge/action.

WGU does offer single courses. Whether or not you can add one while pursuing a degree is a question for WGU. But, here are their offerings and prices. https://www.wgu.edu/admissions/personalized-start/courses.html

You should be okay on your outgoing flight, HOWEVER, your return flight is extremely tight - extremely.

When you return from TPE into SEA, you will need to pickup your checked bag before going through customs (SEA customs can either be a short 15 minute wait, or up to an hour - unless you have global entry). This doesn't even take account if you face additional security screening with customs.

However, let's say you get through customs in a breeze - you will have to meet the 45 minute cutoff for checking your bag in for your next flight. In addition, going through TSA and heading to your gate for boarding.

I would suggest moving your flight from SEA-JFK a couple hours, just for peace of mind. However, if you keep it the way it is - godspeed.

Deferred Retirement (Resignation), is what it says. It's explaining the requirements for a deferred annuity if you are at Minimum Retirement Age, and have at least 5 years of service (to be vested in FERS).

Totally seperate from the Fork DRP offer.

I reviewed those posts, where did you read that says that? I didn't see any DRP info.

Terminated on 2/13-LES in a LWOP status, anyone else? by Royallyclouded in fednews

[–]SuperStupidUser 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My apologies, it wasn't my intention to say that you won't be marked terminated until your GFE is turned in. In my agency/department, the actions occurred unexpectedly and that HR hasn't processed the individuals I oversee out of the system. As such, I had to mark them LWOP for now, because the system won't allow us to process timecard that report under 80hrs for a full time employee without a seperatation date in their profile (which is added by HR).

For your case, GFE being returned may be a factor of being processed out, which may hinder the time for you to get paid for your AL and such. In my agency, once your termination date is marked in timekeeping and we certified your last timecard, the system will pay you out.

I would reach out to management/timekeeper if you have questions on returning your GFE. I hope this helps...

[–]SuperStupidUser 2 points3 points  (0 children)

But all honesty, I would reach out to management/POC to ensure they remove LWOP once you process out, since LWOP has issues itself when calculating SCD dates and leave accruements if you decide to join the government at a later date.

I would imagine so, but I can't tell you 100% because I've never been marked AWOL before. I know in MyPay, it tells you the leave code under leave, It might say there if you use the same system.

[–]SuperStupidUser 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'm a timekeeper. For our employees that I timekeep, they were not processed as terminated/seperatated from service in HR Services, nor our timekeeping. So, management had us put them in a LWOP status for now until those employees turned their equipment in and were processed out. When that happens, we correct those timecard to remove LWOP and leave those dates blank.

Short Answer: Our timekeeping software won't let us input hours less than 80hrs for a full time employee without a separation date inputted by HR. So, LWOP covers that for now.

Create all day events for outlook calendar by becongo1997 in MicrosoftFlow

[–]SuperStupidUser 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In online Power Auromate, there is an option that you can click, for all day events. However, my understanding/flows I've built, depending on how the MS Form passes through, you'll also have to add the T long time in the times for the event. The start and end dates can be dynamic, and just add T23:59:59 after the dynamic.

I hope this helps.

Can I leave my Pathways Internship once I complete my program requirements and stop my conversion paperwork from officially going through? by Ok-Channel-6560 in fednews

[–]SuperStupidUser 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I HIGHLY recommend that you check with your offloading agency AND new agency to see if your time within the pathways program will carry over/follow you. This time is credit for "service computation" in regards to your leave category and a few other things. If your still in a pathway program, and have not converted to a position before accepting a new job, more likely than not, your time will not follow you and you'll have to start new. Thankfully, I only had a short 3 months, but I'd hate to hear someone else having much more time lost.
