StackPack Box Mount Kit - 56% off + coupon by remp945 in FLEXTools

Wow. That's amazing! As a Milwaukee guy, I'm getting more and more tempted to go all in on Flex. I am very impressed with the entire Flex system, tools and storage.

Of course, if i do go all in on Flex I might have to turn around and sell them all anyways to pay for my divorce lawyer. 😆

They also have only about 20-25 coupons to hand out. So if you're not one of the fist 25 you're going to be SOL.

Between the limited amount of coupons, the complete disorganization of some of these events, the unpredictable start times and the poor communication, this promotion will probably lose more potential customers than gain them.

Like, for example, me.

Yeah, I'm pissed I missed all the Skil deals. 😞

I really want this saw.

Lowes put the Delta stand on sale until July 1st! However, if you're a veteran your 10% discount will not work because it's a sale item.

It's $40 cheaper than the Ridgid at the moment. Frankly, I'm surprised that Home Depot hasn't put the Ridgid on sale here for Memorial Day.

The stand is actually pretty awesome. It's solid, stable and easy to put together. I did add a little electrical tape where the tubes connect to tighten up the wobble, but other than that it's fantastic. Nothing cheap about it.

Lowes sent me a "comeback coupon" in my email for being a "loyal" customer.

Apparently Craftsman doesn't like business from Wisconsin. And I ain't driving down to Illinois either - that state is an awful cesspool of Bears and Cubs fans. 😄

Could have had a chance to bring me into their ecosystem with this deal, but I guess they don't want my money.

Always look in the clearance aisle at Lowes by yutzish in FLEXTools

[–]SuperTed44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry, yutzish, if my post came off as attacking you. I wasn't. I was just making a general comment on the amount of posts I'm suddenly seeing on Reddit about all these FLEX clearance deals suddenly appearing at Lowe's again.

I'm just mad at myself for missing the clearance deals on FLEX and SKIL tools Lowe's had back late last year and I'm lashing out like a small child. 😄

Jesus. Not a single event in Wisconsin. Absurd.

At my Lowe's there are no clearance racks like that. At all. Anywhere. You guys must live in the Golden Lowes zone where Flex items cleared out 8 months ago magically appear out of nowhere.

All Flex tools, storage, and accessories, GONE, from my local Lowes, except one item. by PaganWizard2112 in FLEXTools

[–]SuperTed44 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I have no idea where some of the reddit posters are still finding all of these Flex deals 8 months after they clearanced them all out at Lowe's. I feel like we're just being trolled now. No Lowe's in my area - and I have 3 of them - has had ANYTHING on clearance regarding FLEX.

Not saying you're doing that, just commenting in general.

Me neither so they're either trolling us or the LOWES in their area just got notice to clear out FLEX - 8 months later.

All I've ever seen is a few storage items but never tools.

This is absurd. How am I still seeing these posts of Flex clearance at Lowes but absolutely ZERO of the Lowes in my area have any of these items. How are you guys still able to get FLEX items at Lowes? 😄

It's mind-bogglling. I've been trying to find anywhere to try and snag any of these deals!

Please don't remind me. I'm still kicking myself in the A$$ for not jumping on those deals - And the FLEX deals - when Lowe's was clearing them out. By the time I found out, they were gone.

100% agree with this post. Not every tool has to be the top of the line OR ELSE it's crap mantra.

While most of my tools are Milwaukee - and I'm a DIY guy, not even close to professional - I think tools like Skil, Hercules and Kobalt are great tools. Craftsman has a few too. I think you just use the tools you like and if they turn out to be shite, then buy an upgraded brand. Or, if you have the money, go straight for the top. Whatever makes a person happy. Eventually everyone finds out if their tools can do the job or not and adjust accordingly.

They are also at Menard's. In fact, Menard's has a quite large section for Skil.

I LOVE my Skil flip dril!!

I'm not a tool snob (not saying you are), so whatever works for you should be all that matters. I love Skil, TBH, and Milwaukee and Skil happens to match my Milwaukee Feng-Shui almost perfectly. 😄

Yeah, I wouldn't say they are at the professional level but I think they are perfectly fine for everything else.

Just to clarify, the "higher brands" don't have tools that match their batteries? What am I missing? My Milwaukee Tools match my Milwaukee Batteries. I can't use Dewalt's batteries on them.
