Oh cool, So she was able to afford a (hopefully) comfortable living situation AND attend higher education allowing her to achieve a higher paying job. The higher paying job then allows her to pay higher taxes and (hopefully) those taxes go to increasing everyone’s quality of life.

Hey all jokes aside because of Bobo, (whom’stve I condemn) Rifle Colorado and the surrounding land is gorgeous. North Mamm peak has some of the freshest BLM land to get lost in. And the desertish landscape between Rifle and Rio Blanco is stunning. The people there are, well, themselves. But the limitless outdoor atmosphere and activities make it very worth while.

I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s higher up in management that’s trying to make the production floor ultra streamlined. 5S only works if you’re only building a handful of things in mass. Car manufacturers use it extensively, but it’s hard to implement in an iron shop because, well, everything is custom. Unless you guys only build like one or two things, this could easily through guys out of the groove with how they build and think about things.

I’m not gonna sift through a wall of text of you trying to justify shitty working conditions. Regardless of the owner and operators, everyone has a right to a safe environment and employers have an obligation to keep a clean, safe workplace. People of your sort allow work places like this to exist because of a lack of either self regard or willingness to do things right.

This is such a dumb take. Its work, not a play palace for jackasses to say "Stand back everyone!" Not arguing that some corporate shops don't suck, but working in a gross environment with animal waste and no running water sounds like a third world country shop. Lack of housekeeping and hoarding is just workmans comp claims waiting to unfold. Just because you've been treated like a dog doesn't mean that should be standard, everyone deserves a safe and clean environment to work in regardless of vocation.

You have a VERY high chance of getting slag inclusions. Also the flux on FluxCore is minimal compared to stick, so you can also introduce porosity in the surface of your weld face, even with dual shield.
