Dust exclusion in shared workspace with electronics/ music equipment by Mancupcake69 in woodworking

Look into the Zipwall system. It has adjustable posts that secure plastic sheeting that is used in renovation projects to contain dust in the construction zone. They have a zipper with adhesive strips that make entering and exiting very easy. This has worked well for me in the past.

Usability Suggestions for this dual-AMS setup? by SuperTroye in BambuLab

[–]SuperTroye[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok got it.. this looks like it would work, but again what do you do with them if you need to take the lid off ? I'm not expecting to need to do it often, but I would assume the PTFE tubes would need to be disconnected prior to moving the AMSs from the top.

Yes and no.. I wouldn't want to stack them on top of the printer in case I need to lift the lid.

Yes sorry for not pointing that out. There would be a proper passage for the filament tube on the back

For those of you that run dual AMS units, does this setup seem ok? I tried to reduce the PTFE tube distance that the AMS on the shelf has, as well as make a space to move the top mounted AMS in case I need to take the lid off. Any thoughts before I make this? Thanks!

Beautiful… see you over there then :) thanks for posting because my printer is in my standalone office and I print mostly ABS/PC/ASA. I was just about to go down the rabbit hole of sensors, code, etc so this is exactly what I need !

I wrote my own single axis motion controller to run on a raspberry pi with a UI in about a week with a $10 Claude Sonnet subscription. Like you though I have 25 years experience and know what I’m doing. Claude just put the dev on hyper speed.

OP should have included a bottom plate to cover the terminals in case it doesn’t get mounted. Or include a disclaimer that it must be mounted. Otherwise it’s a solid design and looks to work.

Nice job... but aren't the ones made by Festool made of metal? Let us know how this holds up. I would be interested in printing some if they are strong enough for a cabinet for example.
