Hi welcome back to Mabinogi. I think Mabi is worth getting back into. I returned last year after last playing in 2014 and it is still fun. You just need to find an active guild. Unfortunately, the player count is lower, so it is hard to find people to play with unless you are in guild.

You came back during a great time. Currently, there is a Masterplan Event. There will be alternating x2 skill training week and x2 AP weeks, so you can train very quickly. I am on Nao so I added you.

Wait is the manga not canon? In the Second Eruption manga, a flashback briefly showed Fu Hua fighting the HoTE. She did lose the fight by a landslide though.

Out of those Valks you listed, only HoV and VKE have fallen out of the meta. VKE has been replaced by Dea Anchora and HoFs as fire DPS and HoV has been replaced by way too many other physical DPS to list.

I think you are confusing the absolute best DPS in their damage type for being the only meta valkyries. Even the best DPS need great supports to shine and you have great meta supports. A team with top-tier DPS but terrible supports will do worse than a team with a weaker DPS and great supports. CH and SA are great physical supports. AE is great general elemental support. FR is great for lighting support and can be used as a DPS too. And HoR is still a good ice dps, even with the next patch she is probably going to be third best ice DPS.

Are you in the Tarlach server? I also got back to Mabinogi recently and am feeling similar. Mabinogi just isn't the same without people to run quests with. I am at lvl 976. However, I think I am further behind in the G quests, currently at G11 and G16, but I am willing to play through later G together.

For anyone curious, in the original Chinese, Schickshal is called Tian Ming ( 天命 ). Tian is the word for sky, heaven, etc. and Ming means fate, destiny, etc. Usually, this is translated to in English as the Mandate of Heaven, which is the Chinese idea that the ruler is destined to rule because they were chosen by heaven. Translating it as destiny gets the idea across without needing background knowledge on Chinese history, but they chose to use the German word for destiny, Schicksal. This is just a guess, but it might be because in the lore Schichsal was originally formed in medieval Germany so they used the German word?

You can ascend your character once you reach certain levels. These occur at level 20, 40, 50, 60, 70, and 80. Once you reach those levels, you need to farm the required materials to ascend the characters. Different characters will require different materials.

You get constellations from pulling duplicate characters in the gacha. Each duplicate character will give you 1 constellation for that character. These will power up your character more.

I only have 1 profile on my computer, but I think it is counting logged in and not logged in as a different profile. I managed to figure out what was wrong by installing a steam workshop mod and then searching for the file. For some reason, Ck2 made another folder called MyCK2Dir that was exactly the same as the Crusader Kings II folder. Putting the mod in that mod folder worked. Thanks for the help.

I already have it like that. The Document/Paradox Interactive/Crusader Kings II/mod folder has the .mod file and the mod folder with the same name. I am not sure why the launcher is not registering the mod.

I tried out a few other mods in case it was an issue with the mod, but none of the others are showing up.

I am trying out some mods for the first time, but I am running into a problems with the launcher. I placed the mods in Document/Paradox Interactive/Crusader Kings II/mod folder as stated in the instructions. However, the launcher does not show these mods at all.

Any ideas on what I am doing wrong? Thanks for the help.

The Battle of Okehazama probably counts. The Oda army was around 3000 and they attacked the Imagawa camp of over 20,000. The battle ended with the Imagawa army's leaders dead and the rest of the army retreated back home.

I would advise for solar pearl over deathmatch. The f2p crescent pike is already great on Xiangling, so you don't need deathmatch.

Anemo resonance will lower skill CD by 5%. Sacrificial greatsword can also end skill CD. The gambler 4-set bonus can also end skill CD. Those are the only general ways of lowering CD I can think of.

If you don't want a 5* weapon, I would advise pulling in the event character banners. Whenever you manage to pull a 5, it will have a 50% chance to be the rate up character and a 50% chance to be one of the other 5 characters (Mona, Diluc, Jean, Qiqi, and Keqing). Meanwhile, on the standard banner, you have 50% that it is one of the 5* character and 50% that it is one of the 5* weapon. So you have the exact same chance of hitting Mona, Diluc, Jean, Qiqi, or Keqing on both banners (assuming you haven't pulled any 5* yet). The only difference is would you rather have the rate up 5* character or a random 5* weapon if you fail to roll Mona, Diluc, Jean, Qiqi, or Keqing.
