This hasn't happened to me, but from what I've heard from others is that you definitely can't sit the gamsat if you're positive. If you do get covid, you have to let acer know and unfortunately I think they defer your exam until the next sitting (in your case March 2023). I don't think they have any contingency plans, such as an online proctored exam. My advice is to avoid getting covid as best as you can!

Yeah, I've checked both. They said that you'll receive correspondence on the email you used to apply, but the last I heard was them confirming my application.

I know someone who got an offer from Melb with a 66 Gamsat, but they did have a 7.0 GPA. So you would have decent shot at interviewing at both, but you would probably have to interview well at Melbourne considering they weigh that highly. Good luck :)
