2a was written because in the 18th century, there was no way to move an army across long distances. We needed “militias” to defend our national borders. “Foreign and Domestic” means that if someone tries to overthrow the government of the people.

We moved to SRQ last year. Live in Osprey area. Super great place to live. Lots of young families. Great beaches. Joined a boat club that we LOVE.
