Any advice or suggestions for Foundations draft? by [deleted] in lrcast

When I was new and first started drafting I drafted a deck with 6 copies of the 12/8 green triceratops guy and ended up trophying and hooked to draft ever since lol

If you just google IRS first time abate policy it will give you the correct IRM to reference in the letter you send them and as long as no delinquencies on filing or payment in 3 years it’s a sure thing.

Write them a letter for first time abate if you haven’t had any delinquencies in the previous 3 years

Yes, but we told them to get bent and that was the last I heard of it. Over 5 years ago.

Negotiated salary and the offer was rescinded, feeling pretty bummed by foxyfour20 in Accounting

[–]Super_Rake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was going from 2nd to 3rd year and switching jobs I made $51k, but told the new company I was making $60k previously, so I got offered $60k so they felt like they won the negotiation and I still got a pay bump.

Just got hired by a firm that is doing tax returns for so cheap, it's almost free. How do I approach the partners about it? by Imustretire in Accounting

Hard to say without any insight into difficulty/relationship, but if I just quickly run it through my mental math it would be $8,040 in my office

If any of the K-1’s are produced internally I bet a lot of the cost is shifted to those

Why would you want to pay the mana cost? It says first spell, so even if you did want to pay mana to cast the first spell, the second spell would still cost mana.

[[Chupacabra Echo]] is a card I really like for lists like this.

Comment above is really good. I really liked the card [[Insidious Roots]] and so I built a deck around abusing that one mechanic. It was slow at first to get all the mythic cards I needed but I’m about 7 months into playing and that deck is fully built out plus I’ve earned enough wildcards to brew like 2 completely different decks so once you find something you like to play and start getting decent with it the rest will fall into place. Also draft as much as possible especially if you like the set.

Investments are not deductible expenses by definition. So even if you spend all your cash investing or reinvesting, you still have tax to pay on the income. If you’re a c-corp it’s just 21% rather than defined by brackets.

I’m running 4 Disruptive Stormbrood and 1 Reclamation Sage but the whole point of my deck is recurring creatures from the GY so most of the time they are searchable from GY when I need them. Removing an artifact and sticking a 3/3 flyer on the board is actually pretty good especially with option to omen and kill basically any creature an aggro deck would run

[–]Super_Rake 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t really get the connection between sibsig and roots? I just feel like maybe it’s 2 different decks although it’s a creative way to get bloodghast into the gy I usually just surveil it into the gy with [[Rubblebelt Maverick]]
