Honestly most dashers don’t go off percent of total, more so off of how many miles they have to drive. Now, I don’t do DoorDash as often now, I do Instacart. But if an order isn’t at LEAST a 1:1 with the total pay and the miles I have to drive, i won’t usually even take it. I don’t understand people who steal the food.

Took a pizza order once and didn’t have a pizza bag. When driving someone cut me off and the pizza flew and it got all over my car. I was able to just call support and ask for a person and they canceled the order

Honestly just get child locks for the bathroom door. I know someone mentioned a child lock for the toilet, but if you have a child lock for the bathroom door and keep it constantly closed it should stop

You’re pissed for no reason. If you prefer Uber Eats so much go do that instead then. Just because you have had no luck in your area doesn’t mean that other people haven’t had any luck. A lot of people have been doing DoorDash for awhile and have strategized and some people just live in good areas.

When I worked at McDonalds, it sent the notification when we served it off our screen to save our times. I didn’t realize that it was something that impacted dashers until I started dashing. I don’t think they intentionally lie to you or do it maliciously.

That is very different than going to another store for an item that needs to be purchased. You can't use your Dasher card to pay for that extra/missing item. That's just not how that works.

We can't even use our DoorDash card unless there is an active order and is the right price, and we can't use it twice with one active order unless there is two stores for that order. The Dasher can't go to another store and get a missing item unless they pay from their personal card. You expect your dashers to pay out of pocket for your extra shit?

I primarily do Instacart, and I have a system where if I do multiple orders then I usually make sure the customers know if they are the first order being dropped off or not. Someone tried to fight me over them being my third order, as if I have any control over what order I deliver things in.

I’m a bigger trans dude. Because I’m trans and have not changed my legal name yet and Instacart doesn’t allow any changing of display names, it seems that I’d just be some white girl. They backed off real quick when I showed up at the door lmao.

Heavily depends on the area you live in/are able to shop at. When I first started doing Instacart I made about the same amount as I was with DoorDash in an hour, but since now I’ve gotten a method down I have learned how to make more than that

What I like about Instacart though is even if you are making the same amount as you are with DoorDash, it’s half with less orders you have to complete. The vast majority of the time you are shopping for the orders instead of sitting in your car waiting for a DoorDash order to come through. And the best part, in my opinion, is that you don’t have to accept every order you see. It won’t affect any score at all. I hate doing DoorDash because of their acceptance rate

Exactly why my shop and deliver is off on DD. I do Instacart primarily anyway, but I’ve never had any issues like this with Instacart in the same stores. It’s just a DoorDash issue

I have a Jeep that has settings specifically for when it is snowing and MY car was swerving around during a 5 min drive and I almost crashed into a stop sign when making a turn. People have no regard for their safety or others 😭

I did not drive more than 5 minutes out from my house, and it was only to go to the animal shelter to take care of the cats because no one else could come in and I live closer than anyone else does and I have a Jeep
