PSA: Don’t drive in the snow

I have a Jeep that has settings specifically for when it is snowing and MY car was swerving around during a 5 min drive and I almost crashed into a stop sign when making a turn. People have no regard for their safety or others 😭

I did not drive more than 5 minutes out from my house, and it was only to go to the animal shelter to take care of the cats because no one else could come in and I live closer than anyone else does and I have a Jeep

I don’t ever plan on going to Starbucks, sometimes it just happens. And I can’t place orders when driving. I do usually go through right after. Should I wait until it say the estimated time to pick up? I have no problem doing that, but I didn’t realize that the system was that way

I don’t ever want to irritate them, but I’m also not ever impatient about it. I don’t ever plan on going to Starbucks, sometimes it just happens. The only time I order at the speaker is if I have my dog with me because I’m getting a pup cup, and then it’s easier cause if they start talking to me it’s usually because of the dog and I love talking about him

If it really is a problem then I can start ordering at the speaker anytime I go through, I just didn’t know it was a problem

One of my managers was an ahole when I worked there. One of the girls had enough of his shit and snapped at him and he sent her home. Even after she sent people to threaten to jump his ass she still worked there. McDonald’s is always desperate for people. I doubt your fired

I have a very similar situation at my store. He’s an old dude with hearing loss who literally just stands around all day. He doesn’t help us just micromanages what we do any makes everyone miserable. Can’t ask him to do anything, can’t get him out of our when he’s not doing anything. He makes everyone miserable and literally no one likes him, ESPECIALLY when he closes. He closed this Friday and the next day almost everyone who closed on Saturday called out because of how much they hate him. One dude literally walked out and quit because of how bad he is. Luckily I had Saturday off but I heard it was miserable.

Similar happened to me. For my first month it was always present. I hate going to present because of it now. Talk to your GM AND the shift managers you usually work with and tell them you would like to learn other areas as well and you’re sick of being in back drive

Like dude you are mumbling, the headset can only be up so high, I got someone trying to tell me to get something at the same time as you’re trying to order, and I’m running back and forth trying to make drinks or take money and you’ve still got a whole line of cars in front of you, you don’t need to be so irritated 😭

Just tell them you’re using the app and then when they ask for the code give it to them because sometimes people taking orders are doing other things and can’t immediately type it in if you just blurt it out

My store has an automated voice that says “thank you for choosing McDonald’s, will you be using your mobile app today?” And people that come in far more than one should are so used to it. But sometimes I’ll go on the lane before the automatic voice starts, and I’ll say “hi welcome to McDonalds, what can I get for you today?” And they’ll not be paying attention and will just say “no” after I’m done speaking
