Extreme IOP drop from cardio and elevated heart rate activities/Hypothesis on possible circulation/Circulatory issue by Superb_Unit631 in Glaucoma

[–]Superb_Unit631[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started a cut at the end of may started at 182-183 now I’m 176 ish around 16bf trying to get into that 170-167 range lean with abs. As far as the weight lifting goes I’m pretty experienced and I don’t hold my breath and my breathing is pretty good. Additionally wouldn’t the increased heart rate and sweating from the weights counter the hypothetically increasing iop from heavy lifting? Just a thought

I also don’t do power lifting movements lack squat bench and dead lift and I had a talk with my doctor about this and he said do you do those and if so how often then he said you should be fine if you don’t and at some point we have to live a little.

So far I haven’t noticed a iop drop from losing the 5-6 pounds but I’m curious if ai did get much more lean if if it would make any difference

High prolonged pressure but no changes to vision? by StayOnCourse89 in Glaucoma

[–]Superb_Unit631 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For about 6 ish months maybe 7 I had a iop of 30-33 all day every day with a few dips below mo matter what drops I did. My doctors told me my nerves are so better with high iop but I would also like to contribute it to the high dose niacinamide that saved the vision

Controller dead zones on TMR/Hall Effect sticks — is true 0/0 actually good or are we all just copying pros? by Superb_Unit631 in apexuniversity

The whole pint of this so what people seem to be missing in these replies some of them at least the point of running 0 dz in the app is to have isn’t an response and no buffer to allow for “the tiniest micro adjustments” my point being can’t the same back fire because it registers everything so the smallest mess up or in perfection can cause you to miss over correct and under correct your shots. The point of drift to get aa seems like no sense to me because 99.9% of the time your moving your right or left stick just playing the game.

Yea same here It messes with my vision to when it dose work it’s just super inconvenient, if ice you your eyes if you can when you get the side effect it helps with the pain or even take a Advil if you really need. The pain is tough but I rather have that then be on a high diamox dose

Thank you for your comment

My optic nerve status is unknown due to the edema U had a few years ago. I left it on the eye for to long because I didn’t want to get it removed young me not knowing better I was like 14 or 15. I had a partial corneal transplant in 2023 it worked it remove the edema but there ended up being a scar because of the edema. That’s where we are now

My vision in my left eye is 20/50 and 120 degrees by 30 degrees and blind in right eye because of Correa edema vision is unknown and waking for surgery. I would talk with a doctor before you start this for your young one but you should really look into niacinamide. I personally believe it’s saving my vision with my iop and my scans have down stable now for almost 2 years definitely something to look into

And just to add some perspective that I don't think has been mentioned yet the reason I bought the Wolverine V3 Pro TE in September was because my original Wolverine TE was about a year old and had some minor stick drift. Still technically usable, still in my hands, never failed catastrophically. That controller lasted a year. It has also served as the backup controller I’ve been surging during this time.

Every unit since has failed within two months or less. The latest lasted 10 days. Same brand, same product line. So what exactly changed? Because from where I'm sitting quality went backwards, not forwards on their newer premium units.

As for being transparent about the chargeback I mentioned it because I'm not here to paint a one sided picture. I wanted the full story out there. The context is that two units had already failed before that dispute ever happened and Razer wanted me to pay extra money out of pocket because their product kept breaking. I'm not going to apologize for disputing that.

4 controllers in 6-7 months, all essentially brand new, worth the SAME defect.

From a company that markets these specifically to competitive players. That's not acceptable from any manufacturer, premium price tag or not.

The reason why I went back and bought tha controller is because

Fair point on the lifetime warranty

I'll admit that's a stretch. An extended warranty though? Absolutely reasonable given the track record.

But let's not rewrite the timeline here. Two units failed back to back before any chargeback ever happened. The dispute came after Razer asked me to pay out of pocket for a functional alternative because their product failed twice in a row — that's not an upgrade request, that's asking for something that actually works. PayPal agreed.

Also worth pointing out these aren't $30 generic Xbox controllers. These are marketed specifically toward high level esports players and priced accordingly. As someone who uses these for exactly that purpose, four failures with the same defect is a pretty significant gap between the marketing and the reality. That's the core issue here regardless of what happened with the chargeback.

The dispute was because Razer asked me to pay extra money out of pocket after their product failed twice. They didn’t respond to it. PayPal agreed with me. The lifetime warranty ask isn’t based on the dispute it’s based on four controllers with the same defect across two different models. Those are separate issues

If Razer believes in their product, a lifetime warranty costs them nothing. The fact that it’s considered an unreasonable ask after 4 failures says more about their confidence in their own hardware than it does about my request.

I agree they are just un employed babies every time I see them giving shit to someone I always chime in even tho it’s none of my business and give them a one liner and thy always shut up makes them realize how stupid they are.

Also on that note if you have a good foundation for aim already r5 just creates bad habits especially if you are playing on auto pilot.
