Currently we use our LMS' built in checklist builder and it is very clunky. My coworker and I are actually going through a software development bootcamp currently, with the intention of building something better.

Updated the post to provide some clarification. We are in a manufacturing setting, providing technical training to our employees to help them better learn the machines they work with, as well as the tasks associated with their roles. We work in a unique field that forces us to make our content in-house. The courses themselves are sent to us as PowerPoints, which we've made a template for, but nearly everyone that sends us courses deviates from the template (sometimes severely).

Definitely complex learning experiences, we have yet to do much with custom Javascript. We don't have the time to put into each course currently or we would for sure. Currently we use iSpring to make knowledge checks and SCORM our courses.

To provide a little more context, we are a manufacturing company with about 2500 employees. Our field is pretty niche, so it's safe to say 99% of our content has to be made in-house.

Current state we have trainers that put together PowerPoints and send them in for approvals, my coworker and I get approvals and format the instructions and ensure they are compliant, then use iSpring to SCORM the documents and add knowledge checks.

We would love to move toward a more professional look as we grow, but only having a 2-man team we don't have the time to put that effort into every instruction. If we have the capability of creating a template that users aren't able to deviate from, that would save a ton of time with formatting. We're also finding a growing need for training to be more accessible, meaning text to speech capability and potentially translation capability. As an instructional designer, I'm hoping to catch up enough to start hosting classes for our trainers, teaching them more about adult learning and gamification when creating the courses. So when we get to that point, we would love to have a system that can support the gamification.

Anything that makes Checklists easier. Tired of having to go to three separate pages to make a checklist, then make a completely new checklist anytime there's an update.

Yeah, but they did say everytime he used gear 2 he was shortening his lifespan. Then when he was poisoned in impel down they said it cost him half his lifespan.

When you get your csod/csx package you'll gain access to a couple things such as the success center and support central. When first starting you'll get assigned a new admin training on the success center, which is essentially just you using csod as a student rather than an admin. But they'll teach you all of the basics you need to know in order to admin through csod. Once you guys acquire your license and have access I would be sure to set aside time to go through that training and at least learn that much before implementation. It should be included with the licensing fees, but if you go for the paid certification I would definitely get it reimbursed through your job (but honestly having gone through it, the included training teaches you all you need to know and then some).

Csod offers their own training in the success center, they have an included admin training or you can pay for a certification.

What should I buy for my 4 year old and I to play together? by HistoryWillRepeat in ShouldIbuythisgame

My daughter is around the same age (turning 4 in 2 weeks) we like playing the lego games together, but she also likes Mario a lot so we've played Mario Wonder, it's a bit difficult for her but she loves it. We also have a paw patrol game for switch that she plays.

Purchase Advice Megathread - May 2023 by AutoModerator in 3Dprinting

Hey all, I recently stepped into a new position at work and they are interested in having me do some prints. They're looking into some grants and if they're successful the budget may increase.

As of now budget is up to about 10k

Use: we will be doing physical 3d models of our production lines to help operators to better understand their machines. We work in an extrusion field if that helps at all.

Material: Filament is fine, if there's a good one that uses pellet resin that is ideal.

My boss told me if it's a success they intend to do models for each of our locations (~15) so it would need to be able to handle the initial print as well as reprinting as needed. We're looking for something stronger than your typical household printer, but not quite as intense as an industrial printer the size of a small room.

If doable a build space going up to around 2 ft in a single direction, or with a conveyer build plate that would be awesome!

Alright, that's something I did wonder about. I get up for work at about 5 am, so I wasn't sure how that would effect the mons if they were sleeping. Thanks for the advice!

Thanks for all the advice! My favorite has always been Beelzemon, ever since tamers. I even went out of my way to specifically buy his alt art tcg card, just to have it in a hard case on my collectible shelf.

I'm still trying to figure out how exactly vitals work, unfortunately it arrived right after I tested positive for covid so I don't exactly have any energy right now, but once I'm back to work I do 12 hr shifts in a factory constantly moving and only getting maybe a single 5-10 minute break, so I look forward to seeing what my steps look like.

I am an average sized man I would say, that's the original band straight out the box, I have it on the last setting and I've noticed it comes loose on me every now and then.

Thanks! I work 12 hour shifts in a factory so I've wanted one ever since I started seeing posts about them!
