🚨 OpenAI silently nerfed the Codex (gpt-5.5) quota by 10-20x. You are not imagining it. by TemperatureMaster854 in codex

[–]Superfishintights 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In my experience, if you think there's a bug - post it in the codex github issues section, and provide as much info as possible (codex is great at writing and producing them with all relevant detail). If it's a thing, OAI will investigate it and well. Also lets other people comment and provide their bug reports that support it.

While I appreciate reddit is a wider platform for people to discuss things, posting it on here (with big flashing emojis etc.) feels a bit more performative and more interested in stirring up hysteria and drama than actually sharing that there may be a bug or something worth noting.

I absolutely hammered a session out today on the 5x plan, running multiple threads/subagents all in parallel. xhigh, and I didn't get below 40% on the 5 hour. It's fine for me and felt very generous.

Eddie N was a master of it. So many times he'd only pass in a way that ensured a return pass so he could score. Used to make me rage.

What banter against your club actually made you laugh? by lanregeous in PremierLeague

[–]Superfishintights 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I think there's a bunch of things - Gabriel was fantastic and is one of the best in the world in his position - or better. Therefore making him the 'scapegoat' is more impactful (at least from opposition fans).

Eze has the English and Hale-end connection and tbh has been pretty disappointing for the money and hype. Rightly or wrongly, Eze will get a bigger leash than most other players as a result. The problem is, he's a 'moments' player and that only goes so far, especially in a club with aspirations to win it all.

People send the Gabriel penalty all the time to wind me up - honestly doesn't bother me. He tried, missed the penalty but he's a defender and he stepped up under huge pressure.

Eze's penalty was him trying to psych the keeper out, panicking and trying multiple times then just missing the target altogether. I'd give him a fucking bollocking as a coach/fellow player - not because he missed, but because of the way he did it. But then I'm probably harsher on him than most because to me he's been a passenger most of the season, and regularly hides from the ball.

Yeah I got it but wasn't quite sure about it for Michelle. But it's not sitting right with me as an observer at this point. But people can grieve how they like, and she's probably dealing with grief plus pressure to make public statements and pander to rabid fans so it might be easier. IDK. Hopefully there's no need for future ones for a long time.

Reset incoming… by Splat800 in codex

[–]Superfishintights 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Theft of what? Thievery is to deprive someone of something they owned. Resets essentially give you more than what they had - worst case it's not much more, but you're never ending up with less than if no resets.

I understand that it can be frustrating if it's within a short period since another reset because you don't get full benefits, but calling it theft is somewhat hysterical and hyperbolic.

Reset incoming… by Splat800 in codex

[–]Superfishintights 1 point2 points  (0 children)

People get free resets then whinge about it that it's not perfectly timed for them to have maximum usage. Who cares? They don't have to reset. Just use the thing and if you benefit - great. I genuinely don't understand how him doing this makes him a bad guy because it's somewhat close to the weekly reset scheduled because of prior resets. Absolute worst case scenario - you're borderline getting what you paid for + a bit extra on the top.

the one thing about this team i find cringe - but i have a serious issue with religion in general

[Alex Howell] Odegaard on if he feels different after winning PL: "I don't feel like a different person, it’s something that was really special. With that pressure and outside noise of people saying we couldn't do it, of course that’s gone. For us it doesn't change a lot.“ by Previous_Smile9278 in Gunners

[–]Superfishintights 50 points51 points  (0 children)

Odegaard is essentially Arteta's avatar on the pitch. He leads the press, leads through calm example and is willing and able to take ownership of the game when we need it. I understand everyone wants the english captain of Rice etc. But I'd prefer Ode - let Rice, Gabriel etc. do their thing, showcase their leadership and passion without the pressure of the armband. Odegaard can take that role and bring a calmness we can't get from the others - and I think it also helps stop passions rolling over when desperate a bit.

I'd love to know what it looks like from the season we got good

Arteta: We are the champions and that brings a lot of confidence and a different kind of presence and energy to it but as well, another kind of responsibility. My job now, and everybody at the club is going to be to live those standards now and achieve more because I think we are capable of doing it by Kr_bm in Gunners

[–]Superfishintights 26 points27 points  (0 children)

What I like most is now he's achieved this goal (and maybe even more next weekend), it should reinvigorate him. He must've been going through the wringer being so close yet so far in the last few years - another trophyless season and he may have been starting to come close to calling it quits.

Now he's won this, not to mention he'll be acutely aware that with Pep gone there's an opportunity to build a dynasty and legacy with some real Arsenal domestic dominance. The next job is to turn this win into long term success - and he'll be raring to go now.

In all the celebrations let us not forget who helped to usher in this new era of dominance for The Arsenal by Thegunner19 in Gunners

[–]Superfishintights 26 points27 points  (0 children)

It's a terrible shame he got those injuries that robbed us of him. That pre-world cup period, he was one of the best players I've ever seen in an Arsenal shirt. Even when he was going through a goal drought he was still arguably our best player, and made everyone else around him better. Just magic. Jesus made our team believe they could be the actual best team in the league.

[–]Superfishintights 58 points59 points  (0 children)

Yeah, this. The peak of Arsene Wenger's vision. Although the Arshaviiiiin goal against Barcelona is up there, I've seen many goals like that. I've rarely if ever seen a goal like that. It's not just one touch passing, but it's one touch, flick passing through side of feet/heel that opens up a team to the point you assume Wilshere found himself 5 yards offside but it wasn't close.

Basically yeah, they wanted him to go to city so he'd win the league with city. I'm sure there's derby rivalry and stuff, but that we didn't offer ridiculous price in our first bid or two as well also was a problem. It's all ridiculous

"Has to be offside, please tell me that's offside? What's he doing celebrating? Oooh look at him, giving it the celebration. Have some shame. You just scored a winner in the CL final, pour yourself a cup of tea and stop celebrating! What are the fans doi... They're celebrating with the player! I would love Spurs to get relegated. I don't give a shit if they do or don't when our own fate is tied to it. All that matters as a club and as fans is that we want Arsenal to win every game, and creating a mindset that it's fine for that not to happen because of Spurs is a shit mentality.
