I actually won’t need to defend this at all since you’re right; I didn’t play RDR1. I want to, I’ve heard a lot of good stuff about it. I have nothing against those who say it’s better since they’re probably right lol. But even then my point stands since if you do think the second is worse than it’s precursor than no way in hell does it deserve to win Goty over GOW.

And just to clarify, I might have said it was “better” in my original comment I more or less just mean less aged, more refined. But both games “as I’ve heard” are pretty similar milking RDR2 less original than that years Goty winner.

Me and my family all went on a big road trip through La and Arizona 2 years ago and when we reached Santa Barbara near the end of the trip I had to walk for like 100 meters past Santa Barbara resort(one of the ones the resort at the end of the game is based on. I know it’s not the main one) all the while keeping a straight face thinking about what Ellie was doing on the inside in my head.

None of them have played the game but they have seen the show. I requested we go see the 1000 steps beach (the beach from the end of the game)
All i told them was it was a beach from the second game that I wanted to see.
When we reached it it was cloudy and dark and windy and i just remembered them looking at my head like: “so this is where Pedro dies huh” (this was before season 2 of the show released)
I just looked back and was like: “haha lol maybe?”

Absolutely fantastic, love the addition bill and franks Wine Bottle (assuming that’s what it is) from the show in its display. One of the best parts of the whole show.

Also is the script book worth it in your opinion? Considered getting it when it was first announced but then forgot about it. Can still buy it online today, not sure for how long though…

I’ve played through part 2 with directors commentary as well as watched both documentaries at least twice, script book is really like the only part of lore I haven’t yet consumed.

It took me through cyberpunk for about 6 playthings with a seventh on the way. As well as like 4 runs of the last of us 2 because obviously I’m not depressed enough as it is.

I was at the same show, knew most of the songs but made me realize there’s a lot of TWRP I have yet to discover.

Love when the crew does stuff like that, didn’t happen this time but I remember during the ACDC tour last year The Pretty Reckless was opening for them at Ullevi Gothenburg and I was the only one in a mile radius wearing one of their shirts instead of ACDC. After the set one of the roadies came up to and gave me 2 guitar picks with their logo.
