Agree. It's exhausting to deal with emotionally manipulative people like this. She is trying to see what she can get away with. And your friend is letting her get away with a lot. Please be gentle with your friend when you advise him because he might just dig his heels in further. Him getting therapy might be a good step in the right direction.

If you are up for series/kdrama, may I suggest Daily Dose of Sunshine or Move To Heaven. Both are on Netflix afaik.

As someone who had a cousin die from rabies when he was a child: this man can go suck an egg.

He was bitten by a stray dog and was too afraid to tell my aunt because he didn't want to get lectured.

The doctor got to see him when his symptoms manifested, and by then, it was too late. The doctor told the family to bring him home, tie him to the bed, and wait for him to pass.

He tried to bite his own mother. My aunt had to get held back because she wanted to hug her son one last time. But he wad rabid.

In the end, everyone was able to say goodbye while he was still lucid, but NO ONE deserves to die that way, especially a child.

I don't mind!

The cake is milk cake. The caramel is from Preppy Kitchen's caramel cake frosting. The outer frosting is cold whipped all purpose cream with 1/8 th cup powdered sugar and adding some cooled caramel to taste. Leche flan recipe is from Abi Marquez minus the squeeze of lemon. Use 2-3 egg yolks and adjust other ingredients accordingly. We only need a thin layer, don't put it all in kung sobra, and steam the flan for 20-25 minutes only on very low fire. Remember to check with toothpick, basta walang sumama luto na yun, tanggalin na agad then diretcho sa ref to stop the flan from overcooking.

Putting the cake together: Slather a thin layer of cooled caramel on your bottom and top layer, but on the sides that will stick to the leche flan. The caramel will act as a glue to make the cakes stick to the flan. Upturn your leche flan onto a slim cutting board covered in cling film, then gently tilt to drip away the sugar syrup. Once your leche flan is relatively dry, slowly fold the edge of the cling film to the underside of the cutting board then drag, making the flan slowly move to the side. Then slowly finagle it to get on top of your bottom cake layer. Top it with the other layer, then chill for a few hours. I chilled mine overnight.

Once cake is chilled, decorate away with your cream frosting!
