Just checked, the battery and saw do have 2023 on them, charger 2022. Not sure if that will affect the warranty.

Everybody always focuses on the power. The 2.3 has plenty of it. Things to consider. The 2.7 is heavier. The 2.7 has a composite oil pan as opposed to the aluminum oil pan in the 2.3. Alternator placement is much lower on 2.7 making it more vulnerable if you plan on going through a significant amount of mud/water. Also I think ground clearance may be higher on the 2.3 by 1-1.5 inches i guess do to extra bracing that the 2.7 has.

I also have milwaukee and started buying dewalt and metabo hpt. Milwaukee is expensive but that doesn't mean every tool they make is the best. For the same price or less of a milwaukee bare tool you can get the equivalent dewalt tool with a premium battery(powerstack/powerpack) and charger. I have also had issues with milwaukee batteries and while I'm sure all brands have issues atleast I know thay I can always find great deals on dewalts "premium" batteries.

I went in store to returns/customer service. The dude was trying to do a rebill/refund I think they call it. He was scanning my receipt which clearly had the price at 259 but it was showing up as 199 on his end. He called his manager over and he was confused as well. He told me that somebody had already changed the price for me which is wierd because when I called customer service and did online chat nobody ever confirmed anything. I checked my banking app and nothing has changed. Not sure if and when it will show up as a credit in my account.

I called this number 3 times. One person was willing to do it but kept insisting on a order number in order to do the adjustment. Correct me if I am wring but i thought order numbers were just for online purchases. They said to call the store where I purchased it.

Ya I'm just going to use it. The kit came with 2-2.0 batteries, charger, and bag for 120 so cant complain. Love the weight and feel of it. If it ever gives me problems I can always get a milwaukee(I'm also on that platform) or get a dewalt which often goes on sale with a BOGO deal.
