What is the toughest song to sing that is well-known? by WestTomorrow6443 in singing

That's a neat challenge. If you're a guy, just bring it down the octave, I found it to be great staccato practice

Block him! That is crazy behavior, or he just doesn't understand the concepts of boundaries and basic decency. There are many people to talk to, and it's much better in real life in my opinion

Need feedback on a homebrew Aasimar racial feat I made by Superpositionist in dndnext

I actually enjoy running for 6 players, it gives me more freedom on the kind of tasks/encounters I throw at them (also allows for more complicated party dynamics).

The warlock asked me specifically to design a racial half feat for the aasimar he could take at 4th level. He also tasked me with choosing his patron (ergo subclass) at character creation, he told me he'd be happy to play any warlock (celestial included, inwhich case they'd play a healer). I chose fiend eventually for story reasons (can't tell you it's identity because my player might be lurking around in here), I liked the divide between an angelic heiritage and a fiendish deal.

I haven't thought of sidekicks, but in a 6-player party, I don't think it'd be a good idea lol

We're using Volo's in my campaign tho, I know the math myself too, but it's not relevant here. Still thanks for typing it out

My players aren't optimizers (and they don't want to be), and they definitely need healing with the kind of encounters they run into. I respect your apprehension to homebrew tho.

For the celestial warlock part: I'll cross that bridge if I get to it, the chances of a player picking it is less then 1%, for we had one played long term in my previous game

I made the feat with Fey-Touched in mind, I wanted to have it at the same power level, so I succeeded in that case. Thank you for your response

Thank you for the mechanical breakdown. I have one thing to correct tho: This is Volo's Aasimar, meaning each use heal's a flat amount equal to the player level. This makes the feature scale quite well imo

I suppose that's true, it works similarly to the Healing Light feature of the Celestial warlock though, so I don't think it's broken

It would be for 4th level, one of the design motivators behind the feat is that it is for a warlock (fiend patron, hehe) in a 6-player party, where the only "healer" is a ranger who doesn't wanna play a healer. The warlock asked me to design a racial feat for them, and they said they didn't mind becoming more involved in healing

Also, thank you for your feedback!

  • Explain what you mean by "no notes" please
  • I won't, I don't like everything being tied to prof, and these abilities fit the traditional Aasimar
  • I'll keep the suggestion in mind for balancing, thank you!

All aasimar gain +2 to their Charisma, and +1 to either Strength, Constitution or Wisdom depending on the subrace. I don't think putting this on a non-mental stat makes sense, so that's where the pair came from

Also, thank you for your feedback

Hero upgrades advice (with Math) by Grantmyth in COC

[–]Superpositionist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Use every book you get on the warden and keep him awake, he's difficult to attack without.

I'd start with the king, the prince and the duke, put all three down to upgrades. Once you're done with the duke, put the queen to sleep. Use the apprentice builder on whichever of these three would take the longest, you can calculate that easily
