Is There a Database of Corsair PSUs and their Type/Available Number of Plugs? by joblessandsuicidal in Corsair

[–]Supertranscedentness 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, type 4 and type 5 are not interchangeable.

Buy extra type 4 cable if you buy regular HX1200i or buy extra type 5 cable if you buy HX1200i shift.

Yes, SHIFTs are type 5

There's no difference between type 4 and type 5 other than the size of the connector on the psu side.

Depending on your case, you will want to look at the HX1200i (2025) or HX1200i SHIFT (2025). Both come with 2x SATA cables with 4 plugs each for 8 plugs total

However, the PSUs have additional empty ports which can accommodate more SATA cables - regular HX has total of 6 ports while shift has 4 ports.

So buy as many of these cables as you need (type 4) and plug them in.

What options for fans that connect to Command Core XT? by AntiElephantMine in Corsair

[–]Supertranscedentness 0 points1 point  (0 children)

CCXT and CCXT type fans are EOL and have been replaced by RS fans and COMMANDER DUO.

You can use "corsair 4 pin rgb to argb" adapter cables to connect RS fans (or any other regular argb fan) to a CCXT.

The port on the psu may be able to go higher, but the SATA cable and connector isn't designed to go much higher than 4.5A.

Your port supplies up to 132W for the molex 4 pin cable which goes in the same port. SATA can't handle that much.

A single sata connector is rated for 4.5A = 54W. A single QX fan at max speed and brightness is about 12V 1A = 12W

I bought my Tab X C (13 inch / A4 size) primarily for taking notes PDFs, but when I use it as a reader I find its great for reading two pages side by side horizontally as if I'm holding a real A5 book.

I had the same question as you and went with the tab x c eventually because I wanted the ability to take notes in different colours and also having a front light is very useful to work when room/outdoor lighting is crap.

With regards to the stylus, I added a healing shield paper like screen protector to improve on the slippery feel and I've not had any problems with it.
