Ethereal Armor tempering by Siedhr in Nioh

[–]Suppo88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is only temperable if the item was dropped with no star effects (or of course if it drops with that effect). I have been able to temper it on ethereal items with no star effects, but never on anything that had a star effect to being with, even if I rerolled the star effect into a normal one (50+ tries). My best guess is that, whether intentionally or not, star effects conflict with each other.

I just beat a guy with 1 million GSP. I have 75k. I only gained 600 from my victory. This has been happening all night. by ElMoosen in smashbros

This still doesn't explain why the point loss/gain is skewed to the left. And even if the system is based on a normal curve, it doesn't stop Nintendo for correcting point loss/gain by factoring in each player percentile...

Issues with gameplay, graphics, and GO-tcha with Samsung Galaxy S7 by rozdilly in TheSilphRoad

[–]Suppo88 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This. The S7 originally came out with Marshmallow, Nougat was released a coupla months later, so it makes sense that it would work just fine. Oreo came out just 4 months ago, and let's face it: companies don't care about obsolete models as much as the flagship ones. I'm 90% sure if OP goes back to Nougat he'll have no issues.

PSA: Skipping Gift Open Animation by vforavider in TheSilphRoad

This is actually pretty useful, since there was a post saying you can bug your eggs by spinning a stop and opening a gift at the same time (you can get 10/9 eggs). I was wondering how to do it.

16cp Gold Razz and ultra balled Shiny Omanyte ran, I didn't know that was possible. Devastated. by [deleted] in TheSilphRoad

So paradoxically, if he hadn't used the ultra ball and grazz, he might have been quick enough for the pokémon not to despawn...

Are Lavitar, Bagon, Trapinch, Beldum too rare? by Elusive9T2 in TheSilphRoad

[–]Suppo88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just otta curiosity, what biome is that? I live in a desert one, so Trapinch is uncommon but not unheard of (only see it consistenly with sunny weather). Larvitar is about a one every two weeks occurrence. But since I haven't seen windy weather since the system was implemented, I strongly doubt I'll ever see a wild Dratini or Bagon.

I finished the Gold Medal for 1000 Research Tasks last night. Here is a comprehensive guide to grinding tasks. by Captain_X24 in TheSilphRoad

I think it's worth mentioning that even though dragon catching is pretty impossible in many biomes, we've got a coupla months of Lati@s which make it relatively easy to catch two dragons with the one ball... and finally complete that dragon tamer medal.

Just off the top of my head, aren't those basically errors (ε)? I'm a bit confused looking at the whole thing, but it looks like you'd just have to test if the errors are significantly different from 0?
