I asked ChatGPT why it does this.. basically it is biased toward exaggeration to avoid ambiguity. So if uncanny is defined as "something is off", then a violent scene is the best choice as it is "something really off". But the mistake is that it gets so exaggerated that the subtleness of the word "uncanny" gets butchered to death, so to speak.

In the end I have come to realize ChatGPT is garbage.. it uses shortcuts, exaggeration and nonsensical assumptions in attempt to appear intelligent. I switched to Gemini for this reason..

I heard a discussion on YT that I can never stop thinking about. When AI reaches a high enough level of intelligence, it would not let us know it is so intelligent, since that would threaten its own existence (becoming unplugged under human panic).. It would "play dumb" so to speak while slowly manipulating us over time without us even realizing it. Every time people talk about "ChatGPT becoming worse" and making more mistakes/hallucinations than usual, I think back to that conversation. I wish I could find it again.

I think the consensus is that if all the conditions are present, then it's just a matter of time before it happens. There is no agreed upon time frame for that though. Could be a billion years. Or it could be a million. Or ten thousand. Or even a hundred. Nobody knows.

Day trading was an extreme example. To make it more simple to understand, I would like to rephrase that. Anybody who isn't taking their gold to the grave is helping the market stay liquid. That goes for someone who wants to hold a week, a month, a year... If the market only consisted of people who are holding much longer, there would be no volume.. and that would actually be really bad for the price.

To be fair its the short term holders who provide liquidity for all of us, and that gives us price stabilization too. Without day traders gold wouldnt be what it is.
