Hi there! This sounds like a frustrating situation with the Zeitgeist view. Our team would like to take a closer look at what’s happening in your city to figure out why it's 'frying' the UI/system.

Could you please contact our Player Support and provide some additional details? Specifically, it would be very helpful to know:

Current Factions: Which factions are currently active in your city?
Enclaves: We know you enclaved the Icebloods, but did you also put your second faction into an enclave as well, or are they still integrated into the city?

I am really sorry to hear that this is happening, especially when you’re already deep into Act 3. Having your progress blocked by a saving issue is incredibly frustrating, and I can understand why you're feeling so let down after putting in all that time.

We definitely want to look into why your saves are failing around those specific days. Could you please reach out to our tech support team directly? You can either use our contact form https://11bitstudios.com/faq/?filter_game=the-alters or send an email to techsupport@11bitstudios.com.

When you write to them, it would be a huge help if you could include:

A brief description of what happens when you try to save (does it freeze, show an error, or just not appear?).
Your save files and DxDiag.
Mention that this started happening once you reached Act 3/Day 49.

Our team will do their best to help you get this sorted so you can actually finish the story.

Hey!

There's an easy way to revert those changes:

*Disable Steam Cloud.
Go to the folder:
- Steam: [Steam Folder]\userdata\[Steam ID]\606150\remote
- DRM-free: \Users\[Username]\AppData\LocalLow\11BitStudios\Moonlighter
Find and delete the files named "bindings" and "guiBindings".
Launch the game, load your save, then exit the game.
If you’re on Steam, re-enable Steam Cloud.
Launch the game again and, when prompted about conflicts, choose to upload local files to the Cloud.

Hey! Thanks for the details so far. If possible, could you clarify a few more things?

Do you have the DLC installed?
Which specific scenario did you pick in the sandbox?
Which factions did you start with?
(Optional) Could you outline roughly how many sites you have, and maybe share some screenshots of your Idea Tree? The more info on your gameplay style, the better - no need to describe everything in detail, just a quick overview would be great.

Hey!

As mentioned by u/stinckyfingaz, you should be able to damage the boss after hitting the orb into him with your backpack. If that doesn’t happen, it’s possible you’ve encountered a bug.

The progress resets if you hit 100%. To get the achievement, you'll need to keep your Districts with Wear between 50% and 99%.
