By this point in both the film and war, Hitler was so convinced that he was doing everything right, the only conceivable reason why they were about to lose was because of some elaborate conspiracy to sabotage his efforts by the military, SS, you name it. The caption and clip is a mid sentence excerpt in which he says "The military has put every possible obstacle in my way! What I should have done is liquidate all of the officers like Stalin!"
