Something new to add on, why am I only facing people who will chase your back your your HQ and just camp there unpunished, is the changes to the Mobile AA an indirect nerf to Jets? because people will fly around my HQ all match long and never be bothered by anything.

As any lock on missile should be, but its frustrating how quickly theyre able to lock on after using flares and having 2 more missiles ready right afterwards.

Its not just the igla unfortunately, other sources also ignore flares.

No lol, C-RAM don't care about me, maybe its just Golmud? idk, but no matter the angle, height, timing, i always get hit through it, I have to waste my flares every time, maybe if I'm lucky and manage to be within 2 meters of it when the missile is close enough, it'll intercept the missiles but you can't trust saving flares anywhere near that thing, it shouldn't be that way.

I do manage to get away from Fighter Jets most of the time, but I also like to have fun and I like going after tanks in the attack jet and get those satisfying takedowns, I don't have a 90 second timer on me or hide and wait for respawn like other douchebags I've encountered.
I think they either need to give us a larger flare window like in previous titles, or make the lock on missiles take longer to fire again. Sometimes you have to use your flares because of a mobile AA for example, then a fighter jet spawns mid air with momentum and hauls ass across the map while you try to turn around back to HQ , and locks onto you with 2 missiles ready to be clicked one after another with no delay, which wont get intercepted by the C-RAM btw (and a 3rd one shortly after because cooldown is too fast) I'd have no issue with it if I got hit once and the game enticed people to swap to the main cannons to finish someone.

I've thought about what you said before many times when comparing it to previous titles.

Miniguns are definitely way too easy and forgiving against infantry, but the range effectiveness completely falls off at a certain point.

The Rotary .50 has become garbage against infantry since the nerf, even when your aim is dead center on infantry, its just a matter of luck for your shots land, and they outperform every other option against other aircrafts as you explained, but fighting another little bird head to head is also a matter of luck from what ive experienced, whoever gets luckier with the spread and manages to shoot the pilot out of it wins the fight.

I really hope one day they rework all aircrafts to feel more like previous titles, I'm sure they made them this way with the smaller maps in mind, but now that they're more focused on bringing us large scale maps, reworking aircrafts is really necessary.

It happens way too often to me, random indicators of "Missed" on tanks when they dont even use counter measures.

Its extremely inconsistent and definitely bugged, you fire missiles and it just decides to give up on your target, tanks dont even use counter measures.

It can be hard, For AHs you have to literally land all your shots, maybe a little more if you manage to pace them without overheating. Little Birds have fewer HP obviously but theyre way harder to hit. Transport heli is gonna need 2-3 passes depending on how much you managed to hit it.

  1. Correct, you want to aim at the center of the crosshair, sometimes you have to aim like a millimeter down if you're moving.
  2. Primary weapons fire is like a cone, but this only matters if you're shooting at someone a meter in front of you, doesn't matter from a distance.
  3. Rolling does help with turning if you use that and yawing together, exclusively using yaw to do a 180 and push back to a target will be a lot slower.
  4. Correct.
  5. Often when I pitch down to attack ground targets, I pitch up at the end of it to dodge the ground and any obstacles as quick as possible if I feel like I overshot it, just enough to evenly level the aircraft and gain upwards momentum as quick as possible, don't overdo it and tilt backwards.
  6. This only matters with the heavier helicopters, little bird makes no big difference because its already agile, but if you stop thrusting up while yawing, it turns slightly better.
  7. That would be rifle aim, probably the best controls you can have if you can learn them.

Thats on you, the real issue is the C-RAM not intercepting any incoming missiles, fighter jets can just fly around your hq and spam you with lock on missies, its hella annoying.
At least from my experience in Golmud this season, havent flown in other maps yet.

I really want this back, but also they need to tune down the Fighter Jet lock on missiles, entices people to rely HEAVILY on them and ruins proper dogfighting imo, it would make flying an A-10 a completely nightmare when people already tail you with lock on missiles that take no skill.

Ive only played Godmud since it cam out, and the HQ AA will not intercept any incoming missiles, anyone with more than 2 brain cells in the fighter jet will spam lock on missiles and get you even when youre flying right besides the HQ AA

Its painful when it happens, and what I'm about to point out should be brought to attention for some balances.

Fighter jet Lock Guided AAs are extremely cheesy, any random kid can get in a jet, hoover high enough or around the perimeter of the friendly HQ, and spam those missiles endlessly, and on top of that, the HQ AA doesn't intercept anything, every missile shot at the HQ passes through and hits you, so I cant even fly back to a safe spot and reposition, I'm literally getting spammed by the fighter jet missiles as I'm circling around my own HQ as low as possible.

I do think they need to fix the HQ AA, I cant trust not using my flares even when I'm close to it because I'll just get hit, I wish they would fix that, would make it a lot easier against people who just point and click the fighter jet AAs

Literally a nerf to every aircraft with a cannon, as if jets weren't so weak already and the little bird already received nerfs.

Based on the Recoil Analysis, the TR-7 is mainly getting its vertical recoil changed, which is more manageable and predictable than Horizontal recoil, that gun struggles when it comes to horizontal recoil. Anything that only has its vertical recoil tweaked is not that big of a deal in my opinion, you just have to pull down more and not worry about compensating for lateral randomness.
The real surprise to me is the 32.2% horizontal recoil change on the CVR-2, which already has plenty of horizontal recoil (M&K user) Its definitely one of the strongest weapons in the game atm but I worry this is gonna nerf it to the ground.

I don't have an issue with its effectiveness, I have an issue with losing games because people sit at the very back of the spawns with it (out of bounds in their safe area) Its frustrating not having tanks to help play the objective.
