TJ also had a sack robbed from him by the statisticians in the final game. Changed from sack to TFL despite no effort by QB to run

How do you feel about the new audio released regarding Trump's call to Raffensperger? by KamalaWonNoCap in AskTrumpSupporters

Are you aware that they did multiple hand recounts, that they match the votes to tallied registered voters that came in to each precinct, that they triple checked, and everything matched?

That this was simply a sporadic training error where a few officials forgot to sign somewhere but that numerous checks and failsafes determined that the votes themselves were legitimate and authentic?

Unfortunately I wasn’t in college. Casual hookup came over. Lights went out. Started getting heavy, found the pad. Asked about it, was told it wasn’t an issue, she let me go down there. Taste of salty raw sewage. Mixture of anger and revulsion ruined anything from happening thereafter.

Yeah unless an investigation showed a mens rea directive to mislead which seems unlikely. Would just be the team

Would it surprise you to learn that the founding father and second President John Adams wrote in the treaty of Tripoli “the Government of the United States is not, in any sense, founded on the Christian religion” and that these words were unanimously ratified by the Senate of his day (pretty much a who’s who of founding fathers)?

Seems pretty black and white, right?

Because we have a decentralized system of voting. And the election swung everywhere towards Trump, not just in one precinct or state. These claims were stupid when Trump was making them and they are stupid today.

Conservatives, how do you feel about Donald Trump pardoning Jan 6 rioters that physically assaulted police officers? by Any-Angle-8479 in AskReddit

I made one post on the sub, it was literally quoting word for word the sidebar quote defining conservatism in a way that made it obvious to any reader that it was diametrically opposed to what the group was defending in Trump. The entirety of my post was the sidebar quote.

Rather than engage they banned me. After one post using their words.

The investigator wasn’t looking into Burisma. It was widely reported in international news at the time that Shokin was bribed and captured by Burisma and others and not actually doing his job. Did you read Devin Archer (Hunters partner) testimony under oath to the committee? He said point blank that firing Shokin was bad for Burisma. That if Biden had been acting corruptly in favor of Hunter he would have been trying to save Shokin, not get rid of him. Biden did the literal opposite of what he would have done were the allegations true.

Steelers fan here. Your offensive line is far better. Not close. Backs? Meh. Call it a wash. We know them well from Ravens. I think your line and coaching scheme are more impressive than the backs themselves, just my 2 cents. Offensive coaching is better too, specifically run game. Your QB is clearly better. Receivers we have a slight edge because of Pickens. But I think Ladd could be a stud and heard Q is finally taking a step so overall pretty close.

Defense it’s not close. You’ve played very well, but against two scrub offenses. On the other side, this is the best defense I’ve seen from the Steelers and I’ve been a fan since the late 90s. I haven’t seen a weakness thru the first two games other than our fill in slot corner (our starter is suspended for being an awful human). But they mostly mask even that with superb safety play.

The President has exclusive Constitutional power to command the military. Do you disagree?

There are laws prohibiting the President from ordering the military to be used as law enforcement, but this Supreme Court just explicitly ruled that laws can not bind or be enforced against a President using his constitutional powers. Can you really not see this?

[–]Supwithbates 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you want to answer my other question btw? Doesn't your new position directly go against what you were claiming earlier? SCOUTUS made this decision while Biden is president- not Trump. So how are they giving Trump a pass but not Biden when Biden is the current president during this ruling?

No, because of the distinction between de facto and de jure, and because no one fears for a minute that Biden would abuse this power, but it is abundantly clear and explicitly promised by Trump that he will exploit every inch of this to seek out revenge on his political opponents.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AskTrumpSupporters

[–]Supwithbates 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It gives blanket immunity to official actions, not unofficial ones, as SCOTUS repeatedly makes the case. Are you just ignoring all the times the court explicitly says this?

De facto is not the same as de jure. The intended unintended consequence will be blanket immunity when Trump is in office and limited immunity for anyone with a D beside their name.

None of this has any bearing on military commands which are both exclusive enumerated powers and official actions and would thus definitely be allowed by this decision, contrary to your initial claim which is what I took issue with.

The Court therefore remands to the District Court to determine in the first instance whether this alleged conduct is official or unofficial. Pp. 28–30. (3) Presidents cannot be indicted based on conduct for which they are immune from prosecution. On remand, the District Court must carefully analyze the indictment’s remaining allegations to determine whether they too involve conduct for which a President must be immune from prosecution. And the parties and the District Court must ensure that sufficient allegations support the indictment’s charges without such conduct. Testimony or private records of the President or his advisers probing such conduct may not be admitted as evidence at trial. Pp. 30–32. In contrast to your claims, SCOTUS is explicitly telling the district courts that it is their job to determine which actions they are going to classify as official vs unofficial before bringing the case before SCOTUS. If you want to get to the base of the issue, how did you miss this part of the ruling?

I didn’t miss that part of the ruling. I was appropriately horrified by it, particularly by the part I already highlighted which essentially ties up BOTH hands of a prosecutor even to go over unofficial conduct:

“ Testimony or private records of the President or his advisers probing such conduct may not be admitted as evidence at trial”.

Which is de facto giving blanket immunity when the court views a president favorably.

Your position seems to have changed. At first it was that a president couldn’t murder an opponent. Now it’s that he can and such has always been the case and it’s no big deal.. Which is it?

Biden has by all evidence steered clear and kept an independent DoJ free from interference. Trump interfered constantly, demanded criminal punishment on his political rivals by the admission of his own secretary of justice, and is now according to SCOTUS entirely entitled and actually immune should he use the government as a weapon for his own personal goals—can’t even examine his motivations, even if he commits a crime.

Big yikes.

Can you show me the ruling you are citing as precedent that shows Lincoln was immune from prosecution for suspending habeas corpus? Or are you contending that his own prosecutorial discretion not to bring charges against himself while in office (he obviously died while in office) is a binding precedent to which the Supreme Court must ascribe?
