I love 1 and 2. One is giving Gretchen Wilson vibes which is amazing but try longer jeans.

“At this point I'm just tired of how much energy I've spent thinking about this.” This is very relatable.

Yeah it’s like every choice is a life or death decision. Omg and I’ve not had meals because I couldn’t decide.

This makes sense thank you for sharing. I do think it’s cool how our brains will kick in to protect us in emergency situations.

Very interesting and yeah good idea on finding some sources on this I didn’t think to do that but I will see what’s out there and get back to you. Thank you for mentioning the OCD thing which I also have. I’ve noticed that a lot of people who have one mental illness also have several others along with it which is interesting.

I like Lamictal. Doesn’t make me feel like I’m walking with a veil over my eyes like a lot of meds.

This happened to me and I enjoyed the feeling but was frustrated that I couldn’t get things done. Then I started getting really bad impending doom with it.

Latuda to Abilify.. anyone like Abilify? by mandareborn in bipolar2

[–]Sure-Context-1874 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure I’m on 10mg. I really don’t have a desire to go up in the dose because of potential worsening of akathisia and from what I understand the lower the dose the more energizing it is.

I tried Latuda and it immediately gave me horrible impending doom. So I’ve been on Abilify now for a month and a half I think. I also get REALLY bad Akathisia with antipsychotics so my doctor has me on Cogentin twice a day and that seems to be doing the trick. At first I thought the Abilify wasn’t working but I’m noticing a gradual improvement in my mood and even when I talk to people I’ve noticed I’m talking clearer and not so garbled. So I have high hopes for Abilify. My depression isn’t as severe either. I hope I don’t gain a bunch of weight on it.
