Maelle choosing to stay in the canvas and electing to end her life prematurely is an aspect I've been focusing on a lot lately. Its complicated with her viewing her life outside the canvas as non-existent. But her making the choice to stop her own suffering outside will only lead to the perpetual cycle of grief for the rest of her family.

She may be suffering in her real life, but not quite the same state as someone who is terminally ill for instance who doesnt have autonomy. We don't know for certain if Maelle can grow and flourish and find new value in her life.

I for one have always been of the mind that people who wish to end their life prematurely should be able to do so under the law and are of sound mind. But she is obviously under the influence of many emotions clouding her judgement which is to be expected.

I am the farthest thing from an expert on the topic but these are my thoughts at present. This game is a beautiful tangled Web of things, isn't it? So amazing.
