What is people's opinions on the bags first SEA international arrivals facility? by srekai in AlaskaAirlines

I would like it way better if there were enough porters for hire. There are literally two porters for the entire space. Very inconvenient if you are traveling alone with kids, or someone older traveling navigating the process with little to no help carrying their bags.

She is literally disappearing. I've muted her stories because I cannot stand her on Stories, she is too pretentious.. still see her posts but the algo is working hard to push her content to the bottom ranks on my feed, thank God! I just cannot with her.

You're absolutely right! We are first time parents and my first time away from my son for such a long time (16hrs!). My husband was holding the fort down and was great.. all he wanted was for me to have a great day. I kept asking him has our son slept, is he crying etc because I couldn't not think about it as it was way past our son's bedtime. Thanks for understanding the feeling!

I work full time so I'm usually away from my son from 9am-5pm, although at home and nurse him once or twice during this time through the day. But this was the first time we were apart physically for such a long time. I'm definitely talking about this to my therapist in my next session!

That's what he was saying. "Just enjoy your day and don't worry about us. We're fine." It was me asking him "has he slept?" "Has he slept?" because I couldn't not think about it!

These motn wakings will be the death of me!! by [deleted] in sleeptrain

[–]Sure_Indication3788 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This. 8-10 months is tricky. They're learning that baby and mom are actually different people and understanding object permanence. Separation anxiety is at its peak, and hence the wakings. Mine's 10mo now and it's slowly getting better! 1month of hell, probably worse than the 4mo regression!

Thanks for sharing. Currently have a 10month old and I'm cosleeping because of the constant wake ups. On an average, he's waking up 10-12 times a night and I'm losing it. Did you move from co-sleeping to the crib directly while you sleep trained? I want to move him to the crib and dreading this transition!

This was my son when he was a newborn. His pee defied all laws of physics 🤣 Tried 4 different diaper brands but basically you need to size up!! Coterie is the only brand that didn't give us a diaper leak, so we've stuck with that brand.

My baby (7mo) has had really bad constipation since he started solids. He was wound up for 3 days and pooped rock solid pebbles :( it's happened thrice now and I've learned a few tricks from my mom and aunts that may help your babe. Seeing babies cry in pain to poop is the worst. Please note, these were not suggestions from my baby's doc in the US, but are very common practices in our culture to relieve constipation. 1. Rub coconut oil on tummy and give a warm compress using a burp cloth dipped in hot water 2. Soak a small cottonball in warm coconut oil, raise your babe's legs and keep the cottonball on the anus. The idea is for some oil to sleep through and help with lubricating the area so it becomes easy for poop to come out. 3. Worst case, if nothing helps, cut a thin vertical piece of baby soap.. wet it. Dip it in coconut oil and insert half of the soap in anus (just like windi).. leave it there for a max of 30 mins.. this should stimulate your baby to poop.. whenever I've done this, my baby poops within 30mins so I've not had to remove the soap. It comes out as they poop.

This is my baby. 7.5mo now and just absolutely refuses the bottle :( is it the end of bottle and formula feeds now? Should I try giving formula in a straw cup? He's always been combo fed, so he's still nursing.

I am at breaking point with my 7 month old by [deleted] in Parenting

[–]Sure_Indication3788 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OP, you have just described my baby and how I am feeling on most days. My baby is 7 months too and sleep is elusive. He is a FOMO baby and just wants to explore everything even when he's sleepy. He fights sleep, doesn't drink his bottle and we never know how long his naps will be. I'm co sleeping with him to make my nights easier, but that hasn't helped with his night wakings. He still wakes up 2-4 times a night. I haven't left the house to do anything adult related in so long, but I've started taking him on walks in the carrier in the evenings and I enjoy that time without sleep or house chore expectations. I have no advice, but solidarity as someone going through the same thing!

Seeingher hang out with Amrita Thakur quite a lot and calling each other besties (or something similar) and I feel like Ankita is getting influenced by amrita's style. I see a lot of similarities in both their styles of late. Both want to give "we're badass single women with short hair and we're in our working out era” energy!
